Namjoon tried calling Akira. But every time it went straight to voicemail. Had she already gone through with the plan of infiltrating the ring? No. There was no way. But something in the back of his mind told him that yes, in fact, that's what she did.

If that was the case, Namjoon was not sure if he would be able to be with her again. The unspeakable things she would have done to another man. A degenerate man. She was his girlfriend. The love of his life. But after this, Namjoon was worried he'd see her differently.

They could have improved their relationship. Namjoon could have paid more attention to her and not get sidetracked with Hellraisers. But he didn't want to split his focus. Falling in love with Akira was never his plan. He didn't realize how much she meant to him then. Seeing her with other men. Dating. It made him jealous. Telling Yoongi wouldn't have helped. Yoongi is a great brother, very protective over his sister. Namjoon didn't want to strain that friendship. But he also couldn't help the way he was feeling towards Akira. He wanted to tell her how he felt but didn't want to ruin that friendship either. If she didn't see him the same way, then it would just become very awkward.

So, the logical thing was to try and get over her. Sometimes, even that didn't help. While out with someone he'd often think of Akira. As much as he tried to block her out, he couldn't. So, he then decided to stop with the dating. It wasn't good for his mental health nor was it for the woman. He focused all of his time on Hellraisers and worked for long hours to keep himself preoccupied. The office was a safe space for a time because Akira never stepped foot inside. But after a time, she'd come to join Yoongi for lunch or dinner or to hang out with Jimin and Jungkook.

Though he'd been in love with her since day one, it took Namjoon 4 years to build up the courage to ask Akira out. Even when he did, he was nervous. So nervous, he expected her to say no. But she said yes. They had a wonderful first date. He still remembered what she wore that day: a red halter top v-neck evening dress. She had her hair up in a bun with flowers pinned towards the left side. They had gone out for a very fancy sit-down dinner and while she ate an array of greens, Namjoon had a big steak. They talked about their interests, a lot of which matched. A discussion about Yoongi came about - how he was at work versus how he is at home. Why it took Namjoon 4 years to ask Akira out...

Namjoon was in his office, sitting in his chair drifting into space, thinking about the past 6 and a half years. A lot of memories. Mostly of Akira. He opened a side drawer and pulled out a box. Inside that box was a key. That was the key Namjoon wanted to give Akira to move in with him. Not in the bedroom in their shared house, but their own separate place. Just for the two of them. But now, she's off doing God knows what.

"Hyung. Come here, you need to see this." Jimin opened the door to Namjoon's office. He followed behind Jimin into the Surveillance room.

On the monitors was Akira. It was a livestream.

"Guys. Hi. I'm sorry, I should have told you what I was up to. But I had to keep its a secret. Oppa knew and helped me with it. Okay, so listen. I'm inside the trafficking ring. I was brought in a lineup where they did some things and basically bid on the girls. Good to know I'm worth $2.5 million. Not the point. I'm inside with help."

There on the screen a man showed up waving.

"This is Kitsch. He's an undercover FBI agent. He picked me and we had got to talking. Turned out we were on the same side. So, he's gonna help me help you take this ring down."

Namjoon came closer to the computers. Akira could see him on her end. It was good to see him. She smiled but he didn't return the gesture. Her smile slowly faded. Akira asked everyone to leave the room so she could speak to Namjoon alone. Kitsch also left the room on her end.

But Namjoon didn't want to talk. Once everyone left the Surveillance room, he called Mina inside. Akira's eyes widened. Mina, too was surprised by what was happening but she seemed to like where it was going.

"Joon. Can it just be us. I want to talk." Akira pleaded.

Namjoon scoffed. He pulled Mina in towards him and cupped her face. Akira bit the inside of her cheek. She knew where this was going and wanted it to stop.

"Joon." Akira whimpered, on the verge of tears.

Namjoon gave Akira one last look, then leaned in and kissed Mina. Mina melted into the embrace and kissed him back, running her hands in his hair and down his back.

Akira sat there, watching the love of her life make out with another woman. Tears streamed down her face, uncontrollably.
