"Jun~!"
Dark eyes, once fixed to a computer screen, moved to look for the sound of an all-too-familiar voice calling out his name from across the office. Annoying as always, and no social awareness. What a pain. Jun turned his attention back to his work, though there was little to do. Anything to avoid Aaron's relentless pestering. He really just didn't know when to piss off- And he barely did his own job, as far as Jun was concerned. What a pain in the ass. Well, whatever. He had to complete the last few parts of the project, before sending it off to the company. It would've been Noah's job, but he probably wouldn't have done it. Everyone was well aware of this fact, so the job was handed to the only person who wasn't already working on the next project. That person just so happened to be him.
With the memory of Aaron's irritating voice swiftly fading from his short-term memory, he resumed the finalisation process. Was that the correct formatting..? Mmm, maybe- Before he could finish his thought, he felt two arms come to rest on his shoulders, the intruder's hands tangling into his hair. Dear lord. He squeezed his eyes shut, praying to every god he could think of; Buddha, Jesus Christ, Allah... But when he opened his eyes, he could still see the reflection of the signature glasses and the wide doe eyes of Aaron behind him in his computer screen. "Nyaho, Jun~" Jeez, that was getting annoying fast. He sounded like a kid, too. "What do you want now, Aaron?" He spun in his seat, turning to look at the shortstack scoundrel in front of him. His hands rested on his hips and his stance was... Weird, to say the least. Why did he insist on posing like an idiot every time he did anything..? Tch. Damn chuunibyou. "Eeh, well... Since we finished the project... I decided to invite everyone out for drinks after work~ Are you going to come?" Jun sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. He masked a mischievous smile with the hand, his expression dropping when he moved his hand "What, so I can pay for all of your drinks again? Nice try, you damn alcoholic. Not going. I've got stuff to do." He actually didn't have any plans, other than maybe catching up on sleep and watching Fortnite videos. Maybe even having a good wank, who knows. He turned around again, resting his right hand on the mouse and scrolling through the file again. He heard Aaron whine behind him, probably doing his signature "Aaron animation #1". Clenching his fists and slamming them on an invisible table, like some kind of child. Gamer rage, but bad. "Ju~n~.! I'll pay for myself this time, I swear! Come on, it'll be fun! We've worked so hard for this project, it's time to let loose for a night..." Pff, let loose, huh? So he intended to get drunk off his ass and go home with some random guy. Well, no surprises there. He checked the formatting one last time, before creating the connections setting file. Server, username, password... Database, database table and- delete. He was all too familiar with these actions at this point. In the past few years that he had been working for the company, he had uploaded numerous files like this. "Nice try, Aaron." He wasn't stupid. This was just a ploy to get him to pay for drinks again. Happened every time there was a work party like this. Besides, he didn't even want to go. He could be doing better things like... Playing Clash. Going through his Twitter timeline. Literally anything would be better than dealing with a deadweight man-child. Now, take the file, and- "I'll pay for your drinks." What was that.? He spun in his chair again, turning to face his now defeated-looking colleague. He was pouting, his toffee-coloured eyes averted. That was a deal too good to turn down... There had to be some catch. He leaned forwards, hands resting on his knees. "What are the conditions, then? Come on, what do I have to do for you?" His only response was to shift on the spot, tugging at his thick side braid. What a pain... "Spit it out, I know there's something." The only response he got was quiet mumbling, Aaron still refusing to make eye contact. He wasn't going to fight with a kid all day, although.. He looked back at the file progress. 12%. He could afford to talk to him- it wasn't like he hated him. Not entirely, anyways. Besides, it beat watching a task completion bar rise. Jun huffed, pressing the heel of his hand into his temples. "Speak up, piss baby. You're mumbling." Aaron flinched, seeming to retract himself even more. He seemed to freeze up for a moment, as though he were catatonic. Well, he wouldn't be getting a response. Whatever. He turned back to his computer, looking-
