That I'll look like a freak

That deep down I know I am
I'm scared that the perfect
Man you think I am
While slowly fade away

Is a scared little boy
I'm dreading the day
That you discover the happy person
That usually dwells
Fades away for a day

Insecurities of never amounting to anything
Of not being good enough for you
Only to return to the carefree man you love
I don't want this craziness to be the thing
That drives you away
I can't lose you not now
