"When I married Bhavuk, I didn't mean to marry his cronies." Manasvi shook her head. Her taunt was rudely ignored among their stupid talks. She rolled her eyes and stood by the pillar. There were times when Bhavuk would choose his life-long-forever-unbreakable-bond friends over his wife.
"Guys, it's eleven. I need to sleep."
"No worries, you can sleep." Vihaan was quick to reply."By I, I meant me and Bhavuk both need to sleep so please get the frick outta my house."
"Manasvi." Bhavuk gave her that look as if telling her 'you're so annoying.'
"None of you ever bring Stuti or Nitya over, and then you snatch away Bhavuk as well, like what am I supposed to do?" she huffed.
"Come. Come here."
"No. Nope. Not at—" she was pulled onto the couch despite trying her best to stay rigid."You should tell me if you feel left out, yeah?" he smiled sweetly—a cunning, pretty trap in which she was meant to fall.
"Even I like conversing with my friends but y'all are so cruel, you don't let us meet." She snuggled up to him."Next time, promise. It's just that she isn't getting time enough." Kartik replied. He surely did care about Nitya, in spite of his busy, professional character. Manasvi had seen those innocent emotions which flood his eyes when he look at her. She remembered when he proposed Nitya, right on Valentine's day. He'd prepared a fully fledged PowerPoint Presentation through which he told her hundred reasons why she should marry him. He had said, "I will love you until pi runs out of decimal places." Obviously a very cheesy line to use, but hey, that was cute. Next he had texted her something mathematically adorable, and after googling the text, Nitya was brimming up with tears.

=)Manasvi had only watched them along with others, tearing up, confessing, smiling, laughing. It felt weirdly nostalgic.
