This was her perfect Sunday, lying on the couch her book open and her thoughts completely clear from her mind. She was in a state of bliss, but Devon knew better than to believe that she could have a moment to herself when her best friend burst through the door a protective covering over a very very expensive Gucci suit
"Guess what." She shut her book lowering her glasses and sighed knowing her quiet time was over.
"You got a suit sent to you by Gucci?" Timothy rolled his eyes plopping on the couch next to her.
"No, well yes but also ,no I believe it or not got i an invite for some pretentious party where all these brands and celebrities attend and... I happen to have a plus one invite." She raised her eyebrows grabbing her phone and switching do not disturb off
"Oh I'm sure Liz and you will have a great time." She wasn't really in the mood to go out, she had a shit ton of planning to do for Lewis's busy week anyway.
"No she can't come she has some fitting to do and I really don't want to go alone, plus think of it like this, you'll have a shit ton of potential clients." The prospect of a ton of people she could end up styling intrigued her she needed this exposure really badly.
"Fine but you get me McDonald's after."
"Deal now get dressed, we leave in an hour."
