The fuzzy creatures prepared their specially built parachutes and communication devices at a absolutely packed center, which part-time volunteers helped build. This day is gonna be the biggest day in furby history! At this point there was no turning back, as all work was completed for the takeoff. Some of them were already assembled along the skirt of Furbyland, waiting for all participants to join.
"Doo-dah we really have to d-do this? Kah scared." Muttered the rather uncomfortable furby, her white and brown marble-rosetted fur glimmering. A voice were heard from the diatance, which Ee-kah may recognize. "It'll be oh-kay, Ee-kah!!" She heard to her right. The voice sounded familiar, so she attempted to get a closer look at the direction. Brown fur, tan belly, colors of a fresh latte.. It was Way-loo! "COME HERE TO MY RIGHT, EE-KAH!" Hollered Way-loo. "I want to be together!" Ee-kah skipped timidly toward Way-loo amongst the crowd. Ee-kah was nervous, although she was wondering what earth would be like and how cool it would be Would it have lots of big monsters ready to gobble them up? Or would it be alright? Both?? Although way-loo seemed oddly enthusiastic about leaving the place they had spent their whole chickhood and is all they have ever known to explore an alien universe, but that's just typical Way-loo. Plus, they've been fantasizing about going to said earth since they were cooing in a nest. She was now next to way-loo. They both peered toward the big countdown for departure, made by the Furbyland mayor Ay-koo. it stated: "4:30"..Four minutes and 30 seconds. Furbies of all kinds of colors skipping through to join the crowd.
Way-loo turned to their friend. "What do you think we will find and experience down on earth?" Way-loo asked. Ee-kah paused for a moment thinking, then replied "I'm not very sure. Seems like there's alot of blue, a touch of green there! Something magical?" Way-loo nodded. "Kah was thinking that too. Or maybe-"
The countdown hit 4:00. It's a tiny bit louder. Participants who weren't in the crowd by now were scrambling in, finishing last goodbyes to family and friends. Ee-kah and way-loo stood quietly...
Ee-kah continued. "Way-loo, what were you gonna say?"
"Something along the lines of- nevermind." The noise amongst the flock grew, so it was hard to hear. Its most likely not all that important anyway. "PROBABLY THAT!" Hollered ee-kah. "WE WILL TALK WHEN LAND, ITS LOUD." Unfortunately, another 2 furbies gossiping to eachother had overheard this. One with pearl-white fur turned and whispered in the others ear, and they both giggled. "Follow me."
"Why should we?" Asked Ee-kah and Way-loo, simultaneously. "Oh, yeah yeah whatever. Don't talk to me and my sister like that, y'all dunderheaded smellfungi!"Ee-kah was about to apologize, but Way-loo was the first one to open her beak. " We weren't saying anything to you, and you butt in and call us.. what that was?" Way-loo shot a nasty look. "Get lost!"
Ee-kah began: "We didn't mean to upset you and your sister. I am deeply sorry, my friend here has trouble with her anger, she lashes out easier than others. I was shouting to her instead of both of you."
"Mayor ay-koo here. All, hush n listen now! This is an event that will go down in history! We have almost 3 minutes left. Get ready, Get sorted." Out of the two mean sisters, the other spoke. "Excuse me here, I know well that you were talking to me and May-may, then got scared and tried to cover it up! Call me Toh-loo, and my sister you will call May-may!" There was flame in way-loos cerulean blue eyes, while Ee-kah was clearly unsure about bringing more attention to them. "Go ahead May-may and Toh-loo, Say one more assumption please.." Retorted Way-loo.
"Awwh, really? Nice manners for a koo-dah-way-loh duo who thinks the whole cloud and sky revolves around them." Giggled May-may. "Oohooh, maybe the sun too."
Ee-kah noticed Way-loo peeking down at earth. "What mischievous act to escalate things may they be thinking of this time.. Oh wait. are they gonna? Don't d-" Her thinking was interrupted by a yelp. A gasp slipped from a few. Ee-kah flicked her verdant green eyes around to see what had occurred. "SERVES YOU RIGHT!" May-mays parachute had activated and she had floated off to an area farther away, screaming something too far away to hear. Shock rose in those nearby. "RUDE!" Bawled an anonymous voice. 2:00 minutes now. Whispers all around. Way-loo had a regretful look on their face. "There they go again, being the negative or positive center of attention because of anger, boredom, or an accident.." Thought Ee-kah. She hollered at Way-loo, "Get to the side, before Toh-loo makes you go down with her sister!!" And so they did exactly that. There was an announcement..
"Mayor ay-koo here as you know me. Everyone's ready as the center is almost empty. You may go now. Let me know if you see anyfurbs left behind. Safe travels!" A large stampede ran to leap off, with parachutes automatically activating. Ee-kah and way-loo waited until almost all the furbies had jumped, then way-loo and Ee-kah jumped. Some had landed in near a small green island. Others landed on a much more grey island, with tall structures consuming some of it.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!"
"EE-KAHHH, SHUT UPPP!" Cackled Way-loo.
"I'M GONNA DIE!"
"OW! YOU BUMPED INTO ME WAY-LOO!!"
"SORRY DUDE."
"OH MY GOSH, OH NOOO, WE ARE-
OOF!"A deafening, dying sound erupted from Ee-kah as she began to fill her beak with sand. "Got- *choke* AUGGHRREECHH SaNd iiN My BEaK" Way-loo had also inhaled quite a bit of sand, but not as severe as Ee-kah. "You good?"
"BOO-"
"Take your time.." Way-loo said with a slight smile, as Ee-kah was not good.
..."Woah.. just as you said. Magical." While Ee-kah was just plain shocked. Bewildered. They had landed on bright tan sand with a huge, centrally located bright turquoise lagoon surrounded by a big mysterious forest, flecked with vivid flowers blue, pink, white and purple with big, lush green trees. Along with unidentifiable bushes with seemingly near-ripe berries. Both friends were too amazed gazing at the alluring wonderland they had stumbled upon to even peep. What were the odds? "I expected worse from earth than this.. wow." Said ee-kah. "Perfect landing too. What do you say, shall we gooo.." A rustle sounded afar. Ee-kahs face shifted from awe to startlement, and a hint of confusion. "Did you hear that, Way-loo?
"No.. Are you being paranoid? Cmon! There can't be.."
It was a sound, Music.
"I hear that now.. M-maybe its just other furbies that landed here?" Way-loo reassured. "Seem like the most accurate answer. Haha, Wanna see whats going on?" Ee-kah said eagerly.
And so they both skipped off, leaves and grass brushing gently against their fur, to do exactly what they came here for:Investigation, by Exploration.
