CHAPTER TWO ; Uh Oh
══════════════════
I fastened the glove on my hand and made sure my sword was in my scabbard securely and wouldn't accidentally fall out and make a bunch of noise.
"This guy seriously owes me for this"
Outside was pouring rain and blowing a gale — most definitely not the ideal weather for getting some man-child's vision back.
I pulled the hood of my cape up. I cut it with my blade so it only reached to my waist, just in case I happened to trip and fall and perhaps give myself a concussion or something.
"No more stalling I guess..."
I begrudgingly opened the door of my pleasantly warm home and stepped out into the rain sodden streets.
It soaked into the cobble and my clothes and I cringed at the feeling if my woolen socks becoming soggy.
I had asked Itto to show me where his vision was. Obviously, being the master of obnoxiousness he made it a whole day trip and very loudly shouted "THERE'S MY VISION" as he pointed at it with enthusiasm I could only dream to obtain.
It was on the bottom, to his dismay and to my delight. The visions at the bottom were easier to get and easier to stay out of sight with.
It only took my a minute or two to make it to the large statue of the Raiden Shogun. The small stones of elemental energy glittered with the large water drops falling from the sky.
I locked onto a certain golden stone, the geo symbol etched into it. All of the visions somewhat glowed, but with the seperations from their owners, they naturally lost some of their shimmer.
Amazingly, the Oni's vision had yet to dim at all, still with a lively glow surrounding it.
I carefully crept down the wooden patio and to the bottom of the statue, getting my small dagger out that was next to my main blade.
Then, I started to carefully carve it out of the rock, taking care not to chip the visions frame.
Then, I heard a creak.
A creak of wood.
'that's not good'.
They were on top of where I stood. The large platform that was used to bets view the mighty statue.
I scraped the rest of the vision out and it fell right into my hands.
The footsteps came closer and closer and withe every step, my heart became more and more erratic.
'nobody would be out in this weather unless they were... unless they were a part of the guards or police or something. WHAT IF ITS KUJOU SARA?!'
I gripped the vision close to my chest. I needed to calm down. Hyperventilating would be both embarrassing and unhelpful.
'the only thing I can do is... RUN!'
As soon as I left from under the large wooden balcony, a heard a loud thud and thundering footsteps right on my tail.
'Uh oh. They're definitely with the police'
With clenched fists, I mustered a ball of freezing cold water. Then, I swiftly turned to look behind me and threw it at the person running after me. Luckily for me, it smacked them straight in the eyes.
I smirked a little and ran around a few houses until I certain I got them off me and then I stood into my home.
I fell to my knees almost immediately, heaving air inside my lungs to catch my breath and calm my nerves.
'that was a close one'
"that guy... he was... pretty"
