Back on tour

The next day, we were leaving our homes, and going back on tour. I went straight to my bunk, and got in. I spent most of the day, in my bunk. At 5pm, Niall got me out of my bunk.

"Hey Angel, can we talk?" He asked me.

I groaned and got out of my bunk. We went to the back room, and sat on the bed.

"What's going on with you? You've been acting weird since Christmas day. Why?" He asked, slightly upset.

"I didn't want you guys buying me anything for Christmas, but you kept asking, so I just said toys and a phone. I wanted a phone, so I had a way to contact you guys, if anything happens. But, Liam explained to me why you guys kept asking. I was just hoping you guys wouldn't get me anything." I said, not really wanting to talk about why.

"Why, what happened that caused you not to want anything for Christmas?" Niall asked. Of course, he had to ask.

"Because, when I was in the orphanage, the lady always had us in our rooms, and told us not to ask for anything. If we asked for anything, we got in trouble. Even if it was something we needed. So now, I don't bother asking for anything, or even expect anything." I said, reliving the memory.

"Oh, well, it's different with us. You shouldn't be afraid to ask for something, especially if it's something you need, ok?" He said, calmly. I just nodded my head, and he hugged me. I hugged him back.

"Can I go back to my bunk now?" I asked.

"Sure baby, but don't you want to eat? We got pizza." He said, trying to get me to eat.

"Oh ok." I said, giving in. I went to the front of the bus, and got a slice of pizza. When I was done, I went back to my bunk.

For the next three weeks, my dad constantly tried to get to me, but either a security guard or the boys would catch him, before he could do anything to me. The last time he showed up, Liam held him by the arms, and wouldn't let him go, until the cops showed up. After that, I didn't see him again. That is, until Niall was called by a court to have me come in and tell them what happened. I did not look forward to that.

When the day came, to go to the court, I was nervous. I didn't want to see my dad again, and I didn't want to talk about what all has happened. But, I knew I had to, in order for him to leave me alone. So I put up with it.

As soon as we got to the court, Niall took me to the room where we were suppose to go. When we got to the room, we walked in, and I immediately saw my dad. There was a cop next to him,and my dad had his hands behind his back. He saw me, and gave me a mad glare. I grabbed Niall's hand, and we went to sit down.

We were here for two hours, before we were able to leave. I even had enough courage to tell the judge everything, and now my dad will be in jail for a long time. I did let the judge know that I didn't even know if he really was my dad. That he just showed up one day and said he was.

After that, I didn't hear anything about my dad again. I did, later on, hear from the judge, saying that the man wasn't my dad. I was upset, but relieved at the same time.

I still wonder who my parents were, and why they gave me up. But, at the same time, it seems like it doesn't matter anymore, since I have a loving dad, and three loving God father's.

Three months later, we were back in the town where Niall adopted me. I asked him if we could go by the orphanage, so I could ask the lady some questions. He said sure, and drove me to the place.

I walked up to the door, and knocked. A few minutes later, the lady answered the door.

"Oh hey Angel, what are you doing here?" She asked me.

"Hi Ms. Gladys. I was wondering if I could come in and ask you a few questions." I said to her.

"I guess, come in." She said, as she stepped aside, and let us in. We walked to her office, and I sat down. Niall wanted to stand, since he's been sitting for a while. Then, Ms. Gladys entered the room, and sat at her desk.

"So, what's up Angel?" She asked slightly annoyed.

"I was wondering if you could tell me about my parents, and why they gave me up." I said, desperately wanting to know.

"I don't know anything about your parents kid, I just know someone left you here, when you were a baby." She said.

"Oh, ok." I said in a sad way. I really wanted to know who my parents were. Niall and I left after that. We got in the car, and I stayed quiet the whole drive to the bus.

Once we got back to the bus, I went to Niall's room, and laid down. I didn't want to be in my bunk.

"Hey Angel, are you ok?" Niall asked me.

"No, I really wanted to know who my parents were." I said, as I started crying. I heard him sigh, then he walked up to me, and rubbed my side.

"I'm sorry sweetheart. I wish I could help." He said, but I just rolled my eyes, and buried my face in his pillow. I ended up crying myself to sleep.

When I woke up again, I was still in Niall's bed, but I was alone. I sighed and got out of bed. I went to the front of the bus, and saw the boys sitting in there, talking to each other. I walked up to Niall, and sat in his lap, with my arms around his neck.

He sighed and rubbed my back.

"It's ok sweetheart, I'm here for you. I promise, and so are the boys." He said calmly to me. I didn't respond, I just wanted to be held.

That night, I slept with Niall. He held me, and rubbed my hair, as I fell asleep. The next day, I was woken up by Niall shaking me.

"What?" I groaned. I didn't want to be bothered.

"I have a surprise for you, come out to the living room, please?" He said. I sighed and got out of bed. I followed him to the front, where everyone was sitting, again.

I sat with Liam, and Niall sat in front of me.

"I know, you've been wanting to know, who your parents were. So, I had the boys help me, to find out anything about your parents, and we found something, but I'm not sure you're going to like it." He said a bit nervous.

"What is it?" I asked, getting nervous myself. He sighed, and showed me something on his computer. It was some kind of news report, a month after I was born. There was a car accident, and only the baby survived. I was shocked to see this.

"What is this?" I asked confused.

"It's about your parents. Your parents were in car accident when you were a month old." He said, in a sad way.

"How do you know that this about my parents, and not someone else?" I asked, not wanting to believe this.

"Because, we did the research. The accident wasn't too far from where the orphanage was, that you lived at, and they even mentioned that the baby's name was Angel. I'm sorry baby, but this is about your parents." He said, saddened. I was in shock after everything he just told me.

"Oh." Was all I could say. Then I started crying and sat on Niall's lap. He held me tight and rubbed my back. At least I know my parents aren't alive. But I still have no clue who they were. But now, it really doesn't matter. I'm just glad to have Niall and the boys. At least I'm not alone anymore.
