"Are you coming to the Christmas party, Papa?" An over excited Sarada asks, standing in front of me, looking up, holding my hand.

I blinked twice in confusion.

Instead of answering right away, I stay silent for a few seconds, with a slightly perplexed look on my face.

"Christmas Party?" I ask myself in thought.

Sarada waited for my answer patiently still smiling.

"Christmas party?" I ask.

"Yes, Mama is planning it," Sarada replied.

Sarada smiled innocently.

"I see," I close my eyes, smiling softly.

"When will this party start, exactly?" I ask.

"Oh, in a few more days." Sarada said.

"Then I'm not sure if I will have enough time," I said.

"Papa, What? Mama and I have been looking forward to this." Sarada said.

I stare at her with that sad face.

Sarada went in for a big hug and started pleading until I gave in to her. She wasn't going to let go until I agreed.

"Papa, Please, it won't be the same without you." Sarada pleaded, hands folded together. Waiting on my answer.

"I let out a sigh. "When is this Christmas party?" I ask.

Sarada squealed not believing what I just said.

"It's at 5:00 pm. She was still in awe knowing both her parents were going to be there.

"I don't know." I responded with a neutral expression.

Sarada's smile turned into a frown.

I kneeled to her level and randomly poked her forehead, mostly just playing with her, even though I rarely do. This was the time though.

"Just kidding." I started smiling due to being in such a happy mood that day. It was all because of my daughter Sarada.

"Aw! Papa!" Sarada pouts but is still excited on the inside. She couldn't be happier.
