Introduction / Summary??

Okay hi hi, my name is Alyssa, but others may know me as Lyssa, Lia or Rome.

Anyway.

I've written a bunch of fanfics on here before (marauders and golden trio, harry potter), but this is one original story i've been working on since June 2021. Saying that, I haven't gotten very far...

I have like 25k words on it so far so that's cool, but it's still in the beginning stages.

This is a book that I plan on publishing, so it will only be posted on here until I can get published/while i'm still working on it, and then i'll delete it.

Or just private it, and occasionally make it public idk yet.

But ANYWAY, I don't exactly (aka at all) have a title for it?? I've just been calling it 'Kingdoms' because- well, idk why i just have.

(sorry for bad punctuation/capitalisation, i'm typing this all out on my phone lol)

But anyway an actual summary... (which is also the epilogue):

The five kingdoms; Night, Water, Forest, Sun, and Earth are so named Asterin, Pelagia, Edurne, Soria and Paeon. Each kingdom is known for something different. Asterin for its studies on the moon, stars, astrology, astronomy and night. Pelagia for its' studies on water manipulation, divination, dreams, tarot, and crystals. Edurne for its' studies on fire manipulation, storms, weather, and dark magicks. Soria for its' studies on manifestation, spells, and light magicks. Lastly, Paeon is known for its' studies of natural remedies, potions, healing.
    The five kingdoms used to be in harmony, and know the location of each of the others, but after the king of Asterin and the king of Edurne turned against one another and started a mild war, the kingdom of Soria - specifically the royals - had to use a spell to erase the memories of everyone in all five kingdoms the knowledge of the location of the other kingdoms. Now, no one - including the royals of Soria - know the locations of the other kingdoms.
    Every month - on the Full Moon - the queens and princesses of each kingdom meet at the focus - an abandoned castle in ruins on a precipice - to discuss the problems and solutions to each of those problems. The queens discuss these matters while the almost-of-age princesses take note of what their mothers do so that one day they may rule their kingdom.
    Each kingdom focuses on different areas of studies. No two kingdoms research the same study. Overall since that mild war between Asterin and Edurne, there have been no problems between the kingdoms or even inside one singular kingdom. All the people have been in peace. They hoped it would stay this way forever. A safe haven for them to raise their children in. But no, no such place ever exists, nor will ever exist. There is - and always will be - a struggle of some sort... right?

Anyway, the five main characters are Nyx, Kaltrina, Aspen, Raelyn, and Juniper. They all have their friends/families/pets as well of course. Each girl is from a different kingdom, and all have different backstories, yet all become friends.

It's just a typical fantasy book, but I really wanted it to be a female led society sorta thing because that's something our real life world could benefit from I think.

Anyway, I've already completed nine chapters which are all pretty long and I'll be updating shortly (not all at once though, like every other day or something).

I don't know when I'll be done with this book, so don't expect regular updates. Also, this is not by any means the final version. This is for sure the first draft, so I haven't gone back and edited any of it (which i will before i, yk, try to get it published). But i don't think i'll go back and edit what i post on here (cause that's too much work tbh).

LASTLY, i'll be posting the first chapter/the epilogue (which i already posted here, but i'll give it its own chapter), in like an hour or so. Sometime tonight for sure.
