" Elonore we are leaving in five minutes " my dad shout " Coming " I tie my shoes laces and put on my white fluffy sweater and grab my white back pack with little fruit pins . Today is the first day of my new school and I'm so excited, my parents had to move because mom had gotten a new job . But it's all super exciting new school, new friends and new stores .

I make sure my outfit is good then walk out my room . My feet creek the old floorboards and as I made it to the last step I jump down . " Bye mom " I shout then head out the door . My dads black Nissan Altima is blowing smoke as the engine is running, the leaves are falling. Everything is perfect for the first day of school.

Once I enter the car I buckle up and turn to my dad " Ready " he nods then our song plays .

We sing the rest of the song and just as it end dad pulls into the school parking lot . There is so many cars I can't even count , students walking and talking with friends. Teachers scolding the students to hurry into class " So many friends " I cheer and dad laughs " alright kiddo I will see you at 3:30 in the same exact spot got it " I kiss him on the cheek and get out .

My dad pulls away and drives out of the parking lot , i stop and admire the new school building. It's a large building with white and brown that play checkers within the brick . I move my but and start walking into the building, mom can with me on orientation so I know where all my classes are and my locker combination.

As I walk into the warm building I'm greeted with well nothing. Everyone is on there phones or talking with there friends. The smile never leaves my face as I walk to my first class . I think school is fun to an extent, the exams are a piece of cake it's just making friends that is the hard part .

At my last school people would pick on me , there was this one time I was in the lunch line and a group of girl spilt all there food on me . It was a sad day for my favorite green sweater. But it's all okay because when I went home I washed it .

I read the number H6 yup I'm in the right place , i open the classroom door and walk in . It looks like I'm early , so I sit down in the first row and take out my word search. It's the Christmas words . I press down and swipe my yellow highlight on the word Home-alone . That is such a great movie .

The classroom fills up and the teacher walks in , he is a fluffy guy with a big beard almost like " Santa clause " I shout out . The teacher turns to me " missy that's detention " my face turns into big smile " can I make friends in there " the whole class laughs at me . I frown because I don't know what seems to be funny .

" Enough " I stop smiling and listen " Class we have a new student her name is " he scans a paper " It's me " I stand up and wave " I'm Elornore " some people rolled there eyes while a few smiled back . " right" the teacher sat down and huffed " Today we are just getting to know each other . So basically it's a free period do what you want " the teacher proped his legs up and put his arms behind his head and closes his eyes.

Once he shut his eyes everyone moved out there seats and started to chat .I love making friends but I need to finish this word search , so I put on my serious face and start focusing. With a pen still in my mouth a girl and a boy walked up to me .I take the pen out and smile .

They moved chairs and sat in front of me " Hi " gosh she is so pretty, she has really pure green eyes and has dimples. Her hair is curly and she has pretty nails oh and she is wearing a pair of light blue jeans like me and a pink hoodie that says Social anxiety. " You are so pretty " she smiles and thanks me .
