"Shut uuupp..." My voice muffled by the pillow. Just when I turn off my alarm Butters my Border Collie jumps on my feet to wake me. "Hi, Baby" I sigh and finally get up "HONEYLYNE, BREAKFAST" I heard my Dad call out. "YEah" my voice dry.
Turning to check my phone, it was 6:39 an odd time to get up I know but who cares it gives me enough time to get things done since school starts at 8. As most people do I sat on my phone for a little bit before I decided to really get up and do the necessities.
Once I thought I was done with everything I went through my mental list. Shower, done. Teeth, brushed. Makeup, done. My outfit, currently getting done, I picked a simple outfit this morning which is just an all-white crop top with a pair of black cargo pants that hug just right and some white vans to match. Not too much but still cute.

I made my way across the house with my two final tasks in mind. Let Butters out and eat. I can see my dad's car from the backyard so I'll just leave the screen door open so he can let B back in later. I made my way to the kitchen but was hit with a burnt smell. "OH, what is that?" I pull back the top of the bowl. This Man but the toast, eggs, And bacon. "Dad, How did you even do this?" I say disgusted. I love my dad with all my heart but I'm not eating that.
I saw that he taped a note on the top, "Have a good senior year baby, I know you hate Woodsting but I'm glad that you made it this far, I love you Honeylyne". "I LOVE YOU TOO" I put the note in my pocket and begin to leave.
My baby, My Jeep, god i love her. She might not be much to look at with the scratches but she treats me well. I was a little scared for school but I'm really excited to see my best friends Jada and Lia. Let me tell you a little something about them, I love them both with my whole heart they have been my rock to lean on since middle school. They're like my sisters to me in a way. And I can say with my chest that they have saved my life, and I appreciate them so much.
The drive was short with a few stops here and there especially at Chick-fil-A, that line was insane. Anyway, at my school seniors and juniors have a parking lot but it's so hard to find a spot in there that i just park in the teacher's spot at the front. I'm lowkey waiting for the day that i get towed so i can bitch and complain about parking for students.
I almost started dancing as I walked into the main hall when i saw the girls "Heyy.'' I said with a smile as they hugged me, "Hey, we missed you last week." Jada said with a pout as Lia nodded. "Yeah, we were all supposed to go out to the movies" Lia said, pushing my shoulder with an attitude. "Sorry I was out shopping all week, but I'm here now so here's a gift for you both." I presented my Chick-fil-A fries to them since I had already eaten my nuggets, they chuckled and took some fries.
"So I saw that we all got math, AND our classes pass each other, I think I'll be ok this year" Jada said with a grin as she opened the door to our math class. And it was just my luck, that my damn math teacher out of all the teachers is fucking Mr. Marin. He was a 43-year-old black man and this man has been on my neck since junior year, I swear he thinks he's a god or something by the way he be bossin us around.
