Sick/Little: Felix (Age – 4)

Caregiver: Stray Kids (Mostly Chan).

No-One's POV:

Felix awoke, and immediately he could tell something was off. Something about him wasn't right. His throat was scratchy, his head was pounding, and most of all he had chills. Oh no  He thought, realising today was filled with dance practise as well as singing practise. He already felt like he was letting the team down, and missing today's practises could jeopardise them as a team as well as their performances. He could feel tears stinging his eyes, and the familiar fuzzy feeling at the back of his head telling him that he wasn't good enough for the team, or for anyone. Soon, those tears were streaming down his face, and he was crumpled in a ball in the middle of his bed. Just concealed under the sheets.

Felix fought with himself, trying to not go into little space. Every time he was stressed, or just sad, his space would take him under and he would hate that. He would hate that so much. He hated it because of having to rely on Chan-hyung and the group to make sure he didn't do anything stupid. He knew he was a reckless child. Soon, he realised his alarm was blaring, and he had got up much earlier than intended. He sighed, and pulled out random clothes for dance, and finally retreated to the bathroom.

Chan POV:

As soon as I saw Felix, I knew something was up. He was pale, his eyes sunken into his skull and he was sluggishly walking into the bathroom. I gave the team a knowing look, who were all seated at the table with me. I scanned his whole body, realising what had happened already. He was sick. I waited until he made eye-contact with me, to which I asked him "Where are you going?". He raised an eye-brow, and said, "to dance practise with you guys?" It sounded more like a question then an answer. I gestured for him to sit down and eat breakfast, but he declined almost as fast as I gestured. "I ate before coming here". I knew for a fact that was a lie but I didn't want to push him. Pushing him wouldn't be good for the both of us. I sighed, and began packing up a few waters for practise and walked over to the car. Felix too walked over, but one of his hands were always on something secure as he walked over, whether it was the wall, the car, or one of the members. I gave him a worried glance, but he didn't dare to look at me. Both of us knew that I knew about his current situation. We all got into the car without another word, and I started it and drove out from the dorms.

Felix POV:

I wouldn't make it through dance practise. I realised that as I got out of the car. I was dehydrated, and was practically starving while also not being hungry at all. As I had got out of the car, my head had spun causing me to stumble forward a bit. Chan-hyung put a hand on my shoulder to steady me, but I played off the little outburst in a few steps by smiling. He too smiled, but we both knew it was forced. We all walked into our dance practise room with an uncomfortable silence hanging in the air. It was cut short however by Jisung who started blaring some music we would dance too to begin our warm-up. We first started stretching, which we all went through like a breeze. Then we had a drinks break, but as I had forgot my bottle I just leaned against the wall and closed my eyes for a brief period. Hyunjin-hyung had then came and asked me if I was alright, as I was looking a little pale. I gave him a weak smile, and told him I was more than fine. He mimicked my smile, and then walked away back to his positions for our first dance. I was the main in this dance.

I got into my position in the middle, between Minho-hyung and Jeongin, and they both gave me reassuring smiles. I hated it. They suddenly started treating me like I was a sick puppy who needed constant care.
