Once upon a time

A female with green hair wearing a white dress stared at the ruins before her. Her braid swaying in the wind, her gem glowed slightly with what little sunlight seeped in through the broken windows. Cracks were all over, only spreading. Even the bodies were rotting and cracking away, leaving a horrible stench in the room.

It had been hundreds of years, yet it still smelled and looked as horrible as it had been hundreds of years ago. Yet one body in the corner wasn't rotten or cracked, only missing a blue diamond gem that was supposed to be on her forehead. If she could, she would give her sister a proper burial.

Yet, only her spirit was standing in front of the ruins. Her body was trapped in a tomb, locked tighter then Emerald herself could escape. She knew where the gem was, who the gem was with.  It infuriated her, making her want to scream and cry. But she couldn't, she couldn't do anything but watch.

The pure hearted god that had her sister, had no clue it was her sister. He had no clue that her death was because of him and the other gods. She did nothing! It was all the other scientists! Emerald stared at the paintings on the walls, the paints of the gods. Wind Archer's green arms were holding a leaf, symbolizing nature. Moonlight was holding the moon, with Sea fairy holding  an orb of water, and Fire spirit holding a flame in his hands. The writing was crossed out or destoryed, or just plain out fading away.

She breathed a non-existent sigh as she stared at the painting, wondering why it had to end like this. She knew it was better this place was destoryed, it had always been horrible since it's creation. But why? Why did it end like this?

It looked like a temple, but it was a cult. A cult that made Emerald, that made her sister. Yet here she was, the one who was supposed to be able to prevent this, locked up in a tomb. Once upon a time, this place wasn't cracked... once upon a time her sister was alive. She walked out of the place, the memories of what happened too hard to bare.
