Suddenly it felt like the past had taken over, it felt the same as the old times. All three of them just going around running and messing about. But yet they havn't learnt their lesson yet.
Of course they griefed who wouldn't in these situations? But the moments of grief never lasted long anyways, and if it did no other rat would know if they did they would probably make multiple jokes about it anyways. Even if someone knew and wanted to help they wouldn't be able to change the past, he's dead already and no one can do anything about it.

But then again they were there in the same situation as last time. Repeating history. Apo and Oli ran while nudging eachother into things (playfully 🥰🥰). Until. A dreadful scream was let out along with a faint pleading following it. There it was all repeating it happened. Just like the time Owen died. It happened the same but that time Apo had mistakenly pushed Owen in a black and ginger cat. And then he was gone. He never forgave himself for it though some other rats told him to forget about it but he couldn't, it didn't feel right ever just forgetting about it. It never did. He griefed and griefed but the guilt never left him. It stuck with him to this moment but he just hid it. He ignored the risk of getting eaten my cats and got pushed into 2 ginger cats.

Oli ran under a table and just cried. Both of his most trust worthy friends gone. From the same fucking cause aswell. But this time he was responsible for one. He was the one who pushed Apo. He didn't mean to. He wasn't thinking about the things that can go wrong. But there was nothing he could do anymore. All he could do is stand there and cry.

And some might say speaking when dead isn't possible. But either way Apo was there. Standing right in front of owens ghost. All the memorys flashed back to Apo. All he could do was curl up and cry. The time owen died seemed so vivid like its not a memory anymore like its that exact same situation all over again. He wasn't crying about his
own death he didn't care much. He knew it was an accident. Or he hoped? He was crying because his best freind stood in front of him. It didn't look like Owen. His body seemed chewed up but not yet apart into parts. Covered in the same blood he died in just dried. And without knowing it Apo started hyperventilating. He didn't know how to react. And he couldn't breath because of it. Sometime people could think it would be better if he was alive and it really would. Like this situation never happend. If no one were in need to mourn. If they knew this would happen. They could avoid these countless deaths. But who'd die next? How would they die? And why. Would it be from the same situation or another dumb act. It would be mourned by others. And this death cycle would continue.

Apo still sat there curled up, hyperventilating. Tears dripping down his face. But then he felt arms wrap around him.
"Breath, its ok." Owen said in a comforting tone.
"Its all ok now. You don't need to worry."
Apo calmed his breathing down just a bit and hugged owen. He never wanted to let go anymore. Everything seemed so blurred. It felt like his only focus was gone. There's nothing to worry about except for hope Oli's ok. And that's he's not going through the same situation as Apo did.

Oli didn't know what to do. Both of his best friends were now dead. He trusted no one else. Everyone else didn't care. He didn't want to break the news to anyone. Worst thing was he didn't want to mourn again. He never let go of owen. And he probaly wouldn't let go of apo's death either. This felt like the only option. He got up wiping his tears and walking towards the cats.

And at last they were together.
They were no longer separated.
But now they were all dead.
But they didn't need to worry no longer.
As they sat together hugging as tight as they could. <3
