Chapter 14 - Night Howlers

Nick, Judy and Brianna went to see a criminal Judy chased down before the whole case situation began, Duke Weasalton. He was trying to sell movies but it wasn't really working for him "well if it isn't the duke of boot lake" Nick teased "hey Wilde, shouldn't you be choking down a popsicle or something? Hey! If it isn't flopsy the copsy!" he teased them both "we both know those weren't moldy onions I caught you stealing. What were you going to do with those Night Howlers, Whistleton?" Judy asked "it's Weasalton. Duke Weasalton. And I ain't talking, rabbit and there's nothing you can do to make me" he threatened as Nick and Judy looked back at them but he looked at Brianna who looked at him angrily and started growling at grabbed him by the shirt.

"Ice him!" Mr. Big ordered his polar bears "argh! You dirty rat! Why you helping her?! she's a cop!" he asked "and the godmother to my future granddaughter" Mr Big continued as his daughter came along holding her pregnant stomach "I'm going to name her Judy" she said "Aw!" Judy said lovingly "ice this weasel" Mr Big continued to ordered "all right! I'll talk, I'll talk! I sold those howlers, they offered me something I couldn't refuse. Money!" he started "and to whom did you sell them to?" Brianna asked "a ram named Dug. We have a safe spot underground but watch out: Dug's the opposite of friendly. He's unfriendly" Weaselton revealed.

Judy, Nick and Brianna went to the abandoned subway station and managed to sneak past the fence to an old, rusty, small train so they went to investigate and saw a lot of Night Howlers inside but they had to hide because of Dug entering so they hid underneath the tables where he wouldn't notice. His phone rang so he answered it "got dug here, what's the mark? Cheetah in Sahara square? Yeah I can hit 'em. I hit a tiny little otter from a moving car. I'll tell you about it when it's done or you'll see it on the news. Whichever comes first" he said through the phone "hey Dug! Open up. We got your Latte" another ram said outside "well, the others are back to I'm leaving now" he said walking to the door but Judy was thinking and looking around so Nick whispered to her trying to make her listen but she wouldn't so Judy kicked Dug out of the train and locked the door "what are you doing?! You just locked us in here!" Brianna exclaimed to Judy "we need to get this evidence to the ZPD!" she ordered "ok here we go, got it!" Nick said grabbing a case "no! All of it!" she said working on the controls "so you're a conductor now? Listen, it would take a miracle to get this rust bucket going" Nick said but it worked as soon as he said it "oh.. well hallelujah" he said as they went. "we kind of got a situation at the lab- it just got worse!" the rams said as they noticed the increasing issue they had and began to chase it.

Nick, Brianna and Judy began to escape but the Rams already caught up as one was on the roof and one was inside breaking in "back off!" Brianna yelled at the ram banging on the door as the other ran on the ceiling "maybe that's just hail?" Nick thought but the other broke halfway through the window so Brianna decided to let the other one in to kick the other ram out of the window "incoming!" she said as the other ram bashed into the other throwing him out but the other now got stuck in the window but with Judy on the outside of the train. They managed to get outside the tunnels but there was another train going their way but Judy saw something that wouldn't make them crash into the other train "speed up Nick!" she said "there's another train coming!" he told her "trust me! Speed up!" she told him again "not the train!" the ram shouted "hey! Need help?" Judy asked as she kicked him out of the window onto a lever making the tracks move so they would crash but they were going too fast and slipped on the trains side in the tunnel "I think this is our stop!" Nick said as they all jumped out but the train crashed into the wall as they fell "maybe some of the evidence survived?" Judy hoped but the train exploded and ended up on fire "it's gone... we've lost it all" she felt gutted "yeah.. oh except for this" Nick said holding up a case "oh Nick, yes! Come on, we need to get this to the ZPD!" Judy praised as they ran away from the subway.
