You were snuggled up in your comforter as you kept reading your stories. A fluffy part came up in the fanfic causing you to giggle out loud . You quickly put your hand over your mouth and you looked down at Riley . He picked his head up and looked at you and tilted his at you .
" I hope no one heard that ."
You said as you looked shocked .
You continued to read and you hadn't realized the time but you didn't really care and you kept reading . The fanfic kept getting better and better each chapter. You tried to hold back your giggles and squeals but there was no avail. You giggled and smiled at your phone as you kept reading but you hadn't heard the knock on your door until it got louder .
" oh shoot , come in ."
You raised your voice a bit from your bed so whoever was at the door could hear tou .
Ghost opened your door and stood and leaned against the door frame while crossing his arms.
" I see your giggling now , foods ready ."
He sounded amused . This wasn't the first time he's caught you giggling like a mad man while reading but you never new he heard cause he never confronted you about it cause he never felt like there was a need to . You looked back at your phone and read a few more words and you began to blush profusely.
" I-I'll be there in a minute."
You said as you gave ghost a nervous smile.
" what are you reading, seems like you've got a crush or something ?"
He asked amused .
" it's just a story ....."
You said while trying not to seem suspicious.
" who's it on ?"
He kept trying to pry for answer as he found this to be a bit funny . You sighed in deader and you decided to tell him .
" no judgment but it's about ( insert favorite character and fan fiction ) ."
You said sheepishly .
" I see that ."
He chuckled .
" dinners ready ."
Riley head the word dinner and he sprinted out of your room as if he was Usain Bolt . You laughed a bit and you got up and you walked with ghost to the kitchen .
" whatcha made ?"
You asked while walking down the hallway through a corridor .
" made some rice and chicken ."
He said as he wrapped his arm around you .
" sounds good ."
You said as you started to smell the food as you neared the kitchen . You walked a little more and you found yourself in the kitchen . Ghost handed you a bowl and you went over to the table and saw everyone else sitting down getting ready to eat . You too your place next to Alejandro and soap and you picked up your spoon and got to eating . You felt the hot steam of the soup on your face and you blew on your food a bit and you took your first bite . Holy shit did it feel like heaven . You've been eating MRES for the past week and boy it was tough but at least you had food . You dug in and ate but you noticed ghost walk off and leave with a bowl in his hand . You assumed that he was gonna just eat in his room . Which you were correct . He went down the hallway and he turned the corner and he went into his room and shut the door behind him . He went over to his desk and he pulled out the chair and placed his bowl down and got comfortable . He pulled up his mask half way only showing his mouth and he started to eat . He never really eats in front of the others but he only eats in front of you when it's just you and him . He ate In silence and when he was done he left his room to go do the dishes . You got up and you placed your bowl in the sink and you realize that Riley was staring at you. You know he was hungry, so you went into the cabinet and you grabbed out his metal bowl and you placed some dog food into it from when you were in the desert you forgot that you had food with you and you had to bring it to base so you gave him some of that. Riley watched as he put the food into the bowl and he waited patiently you place the food on the floor besides you and Riley got to eating. You let him eat and you went to go walk away, but you saw a ghost walking down the hallway with a empty bowl in his hand. You walked over to him quickly and you grabbed his bowl without hesitation and you bring it to the sink for him..
" spook ,didn't have to"
Ghost said, as he walked up to you and watched you place his bowl into the sink you turned around and you looked up at him and cross your arms .
" you do the dishes all the time at least let me do them it'll be helping you out."
you said, as you turned on the sink and you ran some hot water and got a sponge and soap . You ran the soap under the hot water and you put a little bit of some dish soap into the sponge and you got to cleaning the dishes. Ghosts kept insisting that he would do the dishes and you didn't have to worry about it but you protested and didn't let him. He's always done so much for you and you just want to help him out a little bit I mean he was really really stubborn about a lot of things and he wouldn't back down for whatever he was being stubborn about. That's where you got your stubbornness from you got it from ghost.
" thank you"
He said gratefully as he putting you on your shoulder and picked up Riley's bowl and put it in the sink as well . You figured you wash the dishes tomorrow when you had to feed him again, but it really wasn't that big of a deal. Soap and the others had finished their food first and went to the lounging room and they decided to pick out a movie and wait for you.
" hey me and the others are going to go watch a movie if you wanna join us you can I know you don't really do movies and all but it would be nice to have you around this movie night"
You said while giving him a little nudge.
" look even Riley will be with us will be there. Trust me this movie will be good and no we will not be leading so pick the movie because last movie he picked jeez were sitting there for like three hours."
You said sarcastically .
" all right I'll watch a movie with you guys tonight but it better be good."
Ghosted softly.
You gave him a wide smile as you grabbed his arm and you dragged him to the lounging room. Once you got to the door, you were met by a very excited soap and Gaz.
" what's got you all excited."
Ghost said curiously .
" we picked out the best movie and I think you might like it."
Gaz said while holding the popcorn in his lap.
" we picked out the purge."
You said excitedly, as he took your spot in the corner, and you just did for him to come sit next to you . Gus gave a little half and he went and sat down next to you. You notice that he had changed because he wasn't in his gear anymore and there was no crusted bloody clothes on him. He wore some simple gray sweatpants with a black hood, and he wore his balaclava as always . He sat down next to you, as you got comfortable in your corner of the couch, and he turned to the others, and he noticed that they all had a shocked expression on their face.
" how did you persuade him to come to movie night?"
Price asked .
" kind of just dragged him here but he'll like the movie."
You said, with a smile, as you turned to look at ghost excitingly . Riley ran into the room and he jumped on to go slap, causing him to let out a grunt. Riley got comfortable on top of ghost book ghost just picked them up and pop them down next to him in the open Seat of the couch. Riley then snuggled into ghost side and rested his head on his leg.
" seems like someone's been growing on you lately."
Alejandro said, with a smirk on his face .
" you've gone soft ."
Said soap, as he let out a little chuckle .
" Johnny ."
Ghost huffed while giving him the death glare.
" all right guys shut up the movie starting."
You said, as you ran to turn off the lights and you went back to your seat quickly . Throughout the movie there were a few comments every so then, but for the most part, it was quiet and everyone just.
" wait so you're telling me the purge is basically like 16 hours of doing whatever you want."
Ghost said a little shocked, but also intrigued.
" I mean yeah only in the movie I guess but it could be real. We'll never know though."
You said, as you eat some popcorn . You purposely drop some on the seat next to go so Riley could have some popcorn and you watched as he quickly eat the popcorn and no Cornel was left untouched.
" after another hour or so, the movie had finished and everyone had enjoy themselves usually during movie nights soap, or if the others wanted to drink they would, but when you were around, they wouldn't drink. They were responsible enough to know that bringing alcohol around you wasn't the greatest thing and when soap got drunk it wasn't pretty, but it was also pretty funny at the same time.
When the movie finish soap and the others went to their rooms and say good night to each other and you did as well . Go stayed behind for a little bit and waited for you until you were ready and you got up off the couch and Riley followed, and you went towards your room.
Ghost followed behind you until you stepped in front of your room door, and you reached for the knob, but you were soon mat by the warm, embracing arms of your father .
" good night kid. I'll wake you up in the morning for breakfast."
He said as he let go, and he went to the room next to him, which he claims his. He always pick the room next to you so he can be close just in case if anything happens he was very protective and he didn't want anything to happen. He was still worry about what happened last time and he would kill again if they hurt you .
" good night dad love you."
" I love you too y/n ."
He said as he ruffled your hair bit and he went in his room and then close the door behind him. You opened your door and went to your room but you left the lights off and you close the door and it was pitch black but you found your way to your bed and you slept in under the covers your pet in your bed sheets so Riley could know that he's allowed on the bed and he jumped on the bed, and she curled up next to you in his usual spot. You got comfortable and you put Riley before you went to go to bed and you told him good night you gave him some good night pets and you turned over and you close your eyes and soon you were off into a deep sleep.
