Chapter 4: Disappointed

My birthday is coming up next week and fortunately, there will be an upcoming teacher's talent show that week. Our class will be postponed that week until my birthday since it is the said date for the show. 

* 10 days before my b-day at school recess time *

Hey Sandra, wanna join us for recess? Andrew said as everyone waited for my response.

Sorry, I need to finish this Investigatory Project in science... Maybe tomorrow I guess. I replied as they went down to eat their recess.

Hmmm... Good thing they're gone. Now I could work in peace. I said as my stomach rumbled.

Oooo... I said as my stomach rumbled more showing the signs of hunger.

That's It! I'm eating! I said as I stood up and get my wallet inside of my bag.

I went down and bought a burger and fruit shake to satisfy my hunger.

No eating eh? Andrew said behind me making me jump.

Andrew?! I said. Don't scare me like that! I added.

Don't worry Sandra, your secret is safe with me... For now. He said as everyone jumpscared me making me nervous all of the sudden.

Guys! I could have been killed! I said stress eating my burger.

Next time, eat with us will you? Julie said making my face look guilty.

Sorry, I just got hungry all of the sudden. I said hiding my shame.

It's alright. But next time, have recess with us will you? Briones said holding my shoulder.

The end of the recess bell rang as we all went back into our classroom.

* Time skip to 2 days before my b-day at school * (Sorry guys ^-^ Got tired)

It was lunch time and everyone decided to eat together at the canteen.

Briones, will you attend the teacher's show tomorrow? I said stuffing myself with tonkatsu (deep fried pork)

Yeah. He said in reply.

Great! See you there. I said giving him a happy face.

I'll be there too. Andrew said.

Oh! And me also. Julie said excitedly.
