(Ivan's Pov)
I woke up to Cas staring down at me with a worried expression. "What the fuck Cas." I said and he practically smacked my forehead checking for a high temperature. "Dude!" I whisper yelled. "I'm sorry Ivan, but I've figured out what I was feeling last night." He said. A long awkward silence followed as he didn't add on to the story. "Well?" I questioned.
"It's Crowley. He's trying to get into your head for a reason I do not know." With this I sat straight up. "And you didn't tell Dean or Sam?" "No, not yet I have not." He stated looking at me with confusion. "Don't act dumb Cas, we need to tell them!" I said getting up from my bed, but I was stopped by Cas pushing me back down.
"No, I do not think it would be the smartest to tell them now. Crowley could just be getting us on our 'toes' as Dean puts it. He could just be playing with us." He said sounding sure.
"Then why the fuck did you wake me up?" I asked. "Because I had to be sure he was just playing with us... with you." He said sitting down next to me. I've never seen Cas look so distressed. He looks tired and almost sad. "Cas, I think you need to take a day off. You're obviously tired and..." I trailed off when Cas looked at me with a smile I've never seen on him before.
"I must thank you for your concern Ivan but, I can't just 'take the day off'." "I know, but you keep pushing yourself for us." Cas fell back onto my bed with a heavy sigh. I could tell he was lost in thought, probably thinking about something to help get this Crowley fiasco out of the way so we could go out knowing we were somewhat safe.
I laid back next to him staring up at my ceiling where Sam and I had put up a copy of The Renaissance. I felt like I was up in the clouds thinking about how I'd gotten up there. Then I closed my eyes and behind my eye lids I saw an empty mansion, dark yet Regal. As I walked inside I saw a throne. (it's the one in the picture ^^)
I walked up to it lightly touching the lion's head on the arm. Then as if nothing had happened I woke up.
