Percy pov
I was so happy! Annabeth had come to Goode. Though I had a feeling that she didn't like Jean very much. I mad a mental note to ask her later. The day passed by quickly, during lunch, while I was talking to Annabeth, as we were about to kiss, Brooke interrupted us. She screamed "what the hell do you think you are doing to my boyfriend?" in case you didn't know, Brooke is the school slut. Jean, who had been smiling so fakely at Annabeth, glared at Brooke. " leave him alone" she said.
Annabeth on the other hand, got up and looked like she wanted to slap the daylights out of her, which she probably could. I got up and calmy told Brooke"i am NOT your boyfriend. so please don't interrupt me and my girlfriend EVER again". Saying that, I got up and kissed Annabeth. Brooke shrieked and ran off. "good riddance to bad rubbish" said Jake.
I took Annabeth's hand and walked out of the cafeteria. Outside, I stopped and asked her " are you alright"
She said" yup". Then I asked her "why don't you like Jean?" She said "what do you mean, I don't hold anything against her." I saw through her lie, and she said "fine, ill tell you later at camp. I grinned and said "ok then".
