I wish I could tell you why
I wish I could just explain

The feelings that bubble up as I hear your voice
The joy you make me feel when we talk
About anything, everything, and nothing at all

The comfort of your silence
The ease of your words
Or why I act like a fool simply because you are near

But I can’t
Because love can’t really be put into words, can it?
