"EXPLAIN TO ME" vernon yells as soon as the mingyu wakes up. they took around an hour of sleep, which made vernon's rage meter go through the roof

mingyu who's a bit twitched by the sudden yell, rolls his eyes back before looking at wonwoo, clearly struggling to find a comfortable sleeping position. dino wakes up as well by the yell. he looks at mingyu, making eye contact before suddenly crying

"and i oop" vernon runs away to the kitchen, pretending to grab a glass of water

mingyu panics, instantly grabbing dino into his arms, letting the latter cry on his chest. literally his only worry is if wonwoo wakes up or not. mingyu pats dino's back at a rhythm, calming the boy down. he sits upright and continues doing the action. wonwoo on the other hand, woke up from the crying. seeing mingyu sitting up right, he proceeds to mirror the action

"what's wrong?" wonwoo asks, still in his bed voice. mingyu gives a confused look, since he himself doesn't know why dino's crying

"hand him over. go make a milk bottle or something" wonwoo slowly takes dino into his arms

sleepy, wonwoo leans sideways on the couch, rubbing or patting dino's back while he waits for mingyu to be back. mingyu on the other hand, goes on to dino's room to check if the previous milk is finished or no. he didn't finish it yet. mingyu grabs the bottle, tested if it's still edible and rushed back down after confirming that it's safe for consumption

"thanks" said wonwoo after mingyu hands him the bottle

"it's okay little guy" wonwoo carefully puts the bottle in dino's mouth, patting dino's thigh at a beat

the younger slowly stops crying, looking at wonwoo with teary eyes instead. mingyu sits besides the two, hugging wonwoo's shoulder to let wonwoo rest his head on mingyu's shoulder. wonwoo wipes the remaining tears away as he fixes dino's hair, tucking the long hair behind dino's ear. he leaves a small peck on dino's forehead before asking

"why'd you cry?" wonwoo asks, still patting dino's thigh

"someone was yelling so i got scared" dino answers, instantly going back to drinking his milk bottle

"yeah. was someone yelling? gyu?" wonwoo lifts his head up, looking at mingyu with sleepy eyes. mingyu shakes his head, glaring at vernon meanwhile

"sure? i'm pretty sure someone was yelling" wonwoo scratches his head, mirrored by dino who's having a confused look on his face

"BITCH EXPLAIN GOSH FUCKING JESUS OR WHATEVER GIMME AN EXPLANATION" vernon yells out from the kitchen, catching the three's attention

"who's....... that?" wonwoo says, catching mingyu's attention

mingyu didn't answer. he dips his thumbs in a nearby mug of water and starts rubbing wonwoo's eyes, freshening up the latter. he then takes wonwoo's hand and leads him to the kitchen. wonwoo follows along with dino in his hand, still confused by what's going on

"BITCH STOP IGNORING ME" vernon says, only to get shoved aside by mingyu

mingyu seats wonwoo in a chair, latter on sitting parallel to wonwoo. the latter puts dino in a baby chair next to him. he then looks around the dinner table, thinking of what is he going to eat from the various takeaway foods on the table

"gyu" wonwoo says, the latter instantly looking up

"who's that?" wonwoo questions about vernon who's hitting mingyu's head continuously. mingyu grabs his phone and typed for a second

'my best friend or something, idk' mingyu typed

"hi hello it's nice to meet you my name's vernon and you?" vernon forks a hand over, the other one still knocking mingyu's head
