COLLEGE ENTRANCE RESULTS

Rushing out of your room with happiness that had enveloped you after passing your college entrance exams , you jump into your dad's  arms as he is engulfed with shock.
" Yiren ,how many points did you score?"

You look at your dad with a happy face almost telling him how many points you had gotten when you passed out due to happiness.

30 minutes later

"Dad, where are you?"
"Dear, am in the kitchen preparing some chicken soup for you." he replies to you as his voices echoes throughout the room.

"Dad, what happened did I pass out again!" you ask with a worried face

"My dear you need to rest. It is not good for to work yourself out " he says with a worry some face .

"Yes dad, I will surely rest enough and help out at home." you reply while looking down at the floor.

"So, Yiren how many points did you score?"
"Dad I...um...got 976 points "

" I am so happy for you my dear. You are going to be a doctor of a very big hospital. "

You stand up reaching out for your dad's arms and begin jumping around with him as you both laugh loudly.

"Yiren what would you like to eat on this special occasion?"
" Um... I would like to eat fried crispy chicken , fried rice and braised pork."
"Coming right up dear."

"Um...can I join you and help out as you make the food ?"

"Ok, but first wash your hands and before that first finish that chicken soup in the bowl"

You look so happy and cheerful as you finish up the soup.

In less than a minute, you were done drinking the soup .

You then stood up heading towards the kitchen sink so as to wash your the bowl and your hands.

" Yiren , could you please peel the onions and slice them and blend the tomatoes after slicing them too...?"

You quickly reach out for the knife and begin doing as you were told to do.

1 hour later ~

"Yiren it is now done come and enjoy yourself. "

You seat down at the dinning table where the dishes had been placed with great appetite to munch them down.

"Mmmmm dad you are really a great cook . I wish mum was still here with us to celebrate with us "

You break down with tears rolling down your cheeks.

" Yiren, I know that mum is watching over you and is happy to see you attain great success, so don't cry."  your dad comforts you as you lay down on his lap.
