Third POV
It has been twenty three hours since final selection had started you have been completely slaughtering demons using your enhanced speed and strength aswell as your Chakra sensing to kill them
Its currently morning so the demons aren't around right now meaning you can rest yourself. *deep inhale* *deep exhale* "total concentration breathing constant." *Deep inhale* *deep exhale* you continue doing this for most of the day as tanjiro was trying to copy you. "Hey Y/n how do you do that"
You look at tanjiro who was sitting in a similar position in front of you obviously trying to do total concentration breathing constant. Noticing this you smile and begin instructing him on the technique. "Alright tanjiro what you need to do is take deep breaths in, and out, in, and out, keep going with this for a couple of minutes see how long it takes you to get bored" you said as tanjiro begun to follow your words to heart.
While he was doing that you decided to find the yellow hair kid with the intense aura of fear emanating off of him.
Tanjiro POV
While I was sitting there following miss Y/n's teachings I had heard her leave in the direction of the scent of fear I think she wants to help them. But they could also be a demon. It doesn't smell like a demon though. I can't tell, the smell of fear is overpowering everything else
Y/n POV
As I was walking towards the boy I could feel his aura tensing up his body the closer I got. "Hey there's no need to fear I'm another one of the other kids trying to become a slayer" I said as he was nearly in his breaking point.
"H-H-H-How should I-I-I trust y-y-you" he said with a voice laced with fear. I thought for a moment, "because, you were one of the slayers in training at the entrance who kept repeating that you were going to die" when I said that his aura of fear had died down. After a few moments of silence he climbed down the tree he was on... only to start begging me to marry him.
"oh... My... GOD! PLEASE MARRY ME! YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL GODDESS AND I DONT WANT TO DIE ALONE!" He shouted at the top of his lungs. I deadpanned, "eaah... no I'm not into guys" I said and he flops onto the ground depressed "oh... then lead the way" he says and I look at him funny because I never said why I came looking for him but oh well.
