Just come over.

I stared at the text for a full five minutes before deciding that he'd sent it to me by mistake, instead of one of his other hookups.

Yet after ten minutes, my phone lit up again with another text.

Please Jisoo, I want to talk to you.

Talk to me?

I couldn't believe what I had just read, laughing incredulously a little out loud at the nerve of him.

Since when had people ever invited me over to just talk?

And yet my frail little heart couldn't help but jump at the mere idea of seeing him again.

It's only been a week you pathetic loser, I had berated myself... but to no avail.

Even I didn't listen to myself.

The second I pulled up outside of his house, I could see his silhouette outlined by the front door by the evening glow and I wondered just how long he'd been standing there waiting for me.

"What do you want?" Were my first words when I walked in the door, expecting to be ridiculed or that he would propose some sort of idea that was a continuation of me pining for him with nothing in return.

"You." He responded, which I couldn't lie was not the response I had expected.

"Han, I told you I'm not doing this anymore."

"Not like that. Not just for that. I want everything. All of you."

What was he insinuating?

"And your other hookups?" I fired back coldly.

"I'm done with them. No one does it for me like you do."

"Does what for you? I'm not here to play guessing games, Han."

I turned around to open the front door.

"Drives me crazy."

My head whipped around in confusion and the doorknob in my hand never ended up being turned.

"I'm in love with you too, Jisoo. I'm sorry I was slower than you when it came to realizing."

And just like that, I was pulled right back into his vice without a second to catch my breath.
