Good Ending.

This basically isn't anyone's pov btw it's kinda just (bad) narrating

Edgar had been in love with Luca for a long time. He knew that Luca didn't love him back, it was one-sided.

Edgar was trying to get over his love for Luca, it wasn't good for his mental health to have one-sided love. It made him distracted from painting.

After a while, Edgar noticed he couldn't get over the love he felt for Luca. He started ignoring it.

Everything was going fine with his one-sided love. That was, until he coughed up flowers. They were red, beautifully red. Edgar didn't know why he coughed them up, he didn't care, it only happened once. Or so he thought.

He started coughing those beautifully red flowers up at least once every day. Tho, it continued becoming more and more.

No one had noticed, Edgar hadn't told anyone either. He was gonna tell Aesop but they both got busy with their matches.

Edgar started painting with the red flowers as inspiration. (I mean, what else could he do when randomly coughing up flowers 💀)

Aesop and Edgar had a match together, the match was going fine. The hunter was Michiko who was going friendly. Annie and Fiona was playing around with Michiko while Edgar and Aesop decoded.

Edgar could feel a cough coming, he had avoided coughing in front of others hoping that they won't find out. He was planning to avoid this one too, he failed. He coughed up a flower, like he has been doing for a while. Aesop just stared at the flower, he even stopped decoding.

Edgar continued decoding hoping to finish it fast so he could run before Aesop questioned it. He didn't finish it fast enough since Aesop stopped, Aesop asked Edgar about it but he did have an answer. All he could say was that it had been happening for a while and it's getting worse.

Aesop told Edgar to talk about it with Emily, Edgar didn't want to. He didn't want Aesop to know either. After they finished the cipher the exit gates were ready to be opened. Edgar ran for it hoping Aesop would go to the other, he didn't. Annie, Fiona and Michiko also went to the one they were at.

Edgar was now instead hoping that Aesop would at least not talk about it with the others around. It didn't matter, Edgar coughed again. This time he coughed multiple times. He sat down on the ground, holding all the flowers he coughed up just that one time. They were all staring. (I mean no shit bro just coughed flowers up that shit ain't normal my friend)

Michiko helped Edgar up without questioning anything. Aesop continued opening the gate while Fiona and Annie were playing around with the palletes pretending nothing happened. They didn't want to make Edgar uncomfortable with their questions. Once the gate was open Edgar went right out after saying thank you to Michiko. Aesop followed Edgar to make sure he would be fine, trying to convince him to go to Emily.

After over 30 minutes of disturbing Edgar while he's trying to paint Aesop managed to get him to go to Emily.

Once Edgar and Aesop had gotten to Emily they started explain what happened, Emily said she didn't know about it but that she would research it and come back to them if she found something.

A few days passed and Edgar had been getting worse. Emily had figured out what it was but hadn't had the time to tell Edgar yet. Once both of their matches was over for the day Emily went to find him. She went to his room and like expected, there he was, painting. Emily explained what it was to Edgar and then asked him who he liked. Hoping that he would let her tell them about how Edgar was doing, Edgar didn't want to respond, he didn't want Luca to know.

Feeling like he was, wanting the one he was in love with knowing that he was, was the last thing he wanted.

Emily didn't want to pressure him into saying it and recommended Edgar tried talking to them. In hopes of them falling in love with Edgar too before it was too late.

Edgar did as told and started hanging out with Luca more. Even so, he was still getting worse. He never once even coughed in front of Luca. He didn't want to have to explain it to him. At this point of time, having to explain it was his worst nightmare.

Edgar started helping Luca with his invention's by sketching them. Which would mean they were with each other more then they were alone, Edgar still had not coughed in front of him. He would always either leave the room or hold it in when he needed to.

When he talked to Emily and Aesop, they both said it seems to be getting better. None of them knew if that was a bad or a good sign. But obviously they were hoping and guessing it was a good sign.

Luca and Edgar started sleeping in each other's room when they were up working late to not disturb anyone else while going back to their own rooms. (People be complaining about it 😞)

As the time went by with Luca, Edgar started feeling better by each day that passed.

But, Edgar was doubting that Luca started liking him back. He thought this was the end of it all, that him getting better meant that he was actually getting worse yet again.

Luca had been talking to Andrew and Victor about how he felt with Edgar and that he was indeed starting to like him. But just like Edgar, Luca did not think Edgar liked him back. (They're both dumb)

Victor and Andrew were trying to encourage Luca to tell him even if he maybe didn't like him back, Luca was scared to do so. Victor suggested writing a letter that he would give to him so Luca wouldn't have to talk to him or even face him.

Luca agreed to do it and so he did. He wrote a letter to Edgar, a love letter. He then gave the letter to Victor for him to deliver it.

Victor made sure to tell Luca to write that the letter was important on it, just to make sure Edgar actually read it. Edgar was in his room painting (like always) when Victor came with the letter, Edgar was questioning at first then put it aside so he could finish the painting and read it after.

He finished the painting after 2 hours, remembering the letter. He read it. He now knew that Luca loved him back. So, him getting better was actually him getting better. Edgar was happy, he had stopped coughing flowers up 2 days ago. It was time for Edgar to write a letter back to Luca. Which he did, he gave the letter to Victor for him to deliver. It wasn't a love letter, it was a letter telling Luca to meet Edgar outside in the garden at 7 pm.

Luca was scared Edgar would tell him he doesn't love him back. 7 pm came by and Edgar was in the garden, waiting for Luca. And there Luca came, it was time for Edgar to confess about everything that had happened.

And so he did, he explained everything. From the one-sided love to the hanahaki disease and finally to him finally being there, confessing.

The two of them started dating that evening, and then there they were. They were a couple.
