Taehyung

"Walk me through it again."

Jungkook sighed as he pointed to the area on the map we were looking over. "The men will be stationed here and here. The trucks are heavily fortified so if they decide to ram them, it will take some time for them to get around the blockade. That way we can cover both the front and the back of the business and kill anyone that comes out."

I tapped my fingers on the desk, trying to think of anything that could go wrong. Hell, a lot could go wrong with this plan, but it was the only plan I could come up with. Without the KNPA support, I had to find a way to block them from helping Baekhyun's businesses.

Hence the blockade and trap we would set. "Concerns?"

Jungkook chuckled. "I have a shit ton of them, but I don't think we have any other options at this point."

He was right. We had no other options. I needed to end this once and for all, and since June was unwilling to take Y/n's suggestion, then I had to move forward with mine. "How soon can we assemble the team?"

Another chuckle from my bodyguard. "What are we? The Avengers?"

I shot him a dark look, though there was a grin on my face. "Can we hit one tonight?"

Jungkook ran a hand over his hair. "Yeah, I think so. The trucks are ready."

I turned back to the map. "The restaurant." It was Baekhyun's first purchase, and like my club, it was his baby. The restaurant itself was at the end of a street, which meant it would be easy to block the street off and ensure chaos reigned.

Jungkook let out a low whistle. "You will have him hot on your heels after that attack. I hope we are ready to take him on."

Cracking my knuckles, I stared at the map. I was more than ready to have this end. I wanted Baekhyun's blood on my hands, to know that I had avenged my sister and nephew's deaths by taking down the man who had caused them. It was going to be the only way I felt like I had given them peace in death. "I'm ready."

"Then we will be," Jungkook announced, crossing his arms over his chest. "I will have them move into position at sundown, and I will lead the first one. After all, it's a test, right?"

I eyed him. "I don't know if I want you in this one."

"Seriously?" he replied, arching a brow.

I let out an inward sigh. There was something gnawing at my gut about this plan. "Let one of the brigadiers take this one."

"No," Jungkook said, his glare telling me all that I needed to know about staying behind. "This is my fucking job, Taehyung, and I am going to see it through tonight, whether you like it or not."

"Who's the don here?" I joked. "Fine. Go. Like I could have stopped you to begin with."

Some of Jungkook's anger dissipated, and he reached for his cell. "I'll make it happen."

I gave him a nod and walked away from the table where we had been making plans. Y/n stood at the bay of windows that overlooked the city, a glass of wine in her hand, and I knew she had heard everything. "What do you think?" I asked, coming to stand beside her. I didn't know why I suddenly wanted her opinion, but things had changed between us over the last few weeks. She had become a different woman, a woman who was learning to protect herself, to be more like a don's wife should be.

I was impressed.

"It's far too risky," she said, refusing to look at me. "It's only going to start the war that will likely end up killing innocent people, Taehyung."
