Another day , another case..
Just like any normal day I would have















But why does my intuition tell me that

..something bad will happen..








Snapping out of my thoughts , I just went back to my work as usual
Silently praying that my intuition would be wrong this time

"SHIKANOIN HEIZOU , ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME!?"
The furious general said while massaging her temples to clam herself down
"H-huh!? Oh uh , do you mind repeating?"
Finally snapping out of my thoughts











This isn't normal for the detective
It isn't normal for him to be lost in thought when working on a case.

I told myself , reassuring that I will get the job done with ease.
Or at least , that's what I thought..

That's when my heart dropped.

Hearing his voice calling out to me
This could only mean one thing.

He's here alone 

..Thus , I must make a choice..
To end him right here right now or disobey the Tsaritsa's words
I stared at him wide eyed , tears threatening to fall out my eyes
"N/N..?"
He said in a worried voiced
"H-hey , what's wrong-?"
Asking , his voice filled with concerned as he hugged me close to him
I quickly pecked his lips before pushing him away from me
"I'm sorry... But to keep you safe , I would rather die... So please do me a favor and pretend like we never met before , just complete strangers to one another"
Right after those words left my mouth , I quickly ran as far as I can away from him.
He called out to me , telling me to stop as tears streamed down my face.
I'm sorry , but there's no other way. Your safety is far more important than my life. Farewell Heizou.
If any of the Fatui found out that their comrade dared to betray The Tsaritsa just for him , archons knows what they're gonna do to him..
