A Night To Remember

Unlike the skies of the human world, the color of the Underworld's sky is purple. For Issei who was riding a griffon after freeing his master Rias Gremory from her arranged marriage it was a creepy sight. He is always used to the bright blue sky of the human world. But the skies of the underworld mysteriously gives him a sense of security.

Was it because he was a devil? Issei looked up to the sky and thought about it for a while until he felt Rias hands touch his cheek.

"You dummy," Rias says with a bitter smile, but she seems to have a relieved expression as if something painful was finally released from her.

But she soon became speechless when she saw Issei's left arm. She touches his arm with a sorrowful expression. Which is an appropriate reaction, since Issei's left arm was covered with red scales, and it has become so abnormal that it has sharp claws coming out of it.

"Your arm... So you gave your arm to the Dragon as a price to borrow that power right?"

"Yes! It was a good deal. Someone like me with no talent and who has nothing was able to get the ultimate power just with my left arm! Thanks to that I was able to defeat Riser and get Buchou back!" Issei exclaimed with a smile on his face, but Rias narrowed her eyes and looked even more sad.

"You know that this left arm won't turn back to normal anymore, don't you?"

"Ah, that's a bit of a problem. Maybe I could disguise it as a cosplay item! Oh, that won't work at school. Oh my, what should I do?" Issei thought for a while before Rias spoke again.

"Asia will definitely cry if she finds this out."

'Yeah, she will definitely cry. I have been continuing to make that girl cry.'

Issei has a lot of things flowing to his mind but was snapped out of it when Rias spoke again.

"You may have broken this engagement. But a new engagement might be brought in, you know? If you keep doing this... then..." she said with a sad expression as she was holding on to his left arm with her left hand.

Issei, seeing Rias sad expression, then made a smile and held her hand with his right hand and spoke with vigor.

"Then I will give my right arm as a price next time. Then my eyes if another one comes in. I will keep on saving you Rias! That's the only thing I can do. But I will definitely come and save you. That's because I... I..." Issei was having a hard time saying the last part but he strengthened his resolve and shouted with all of his heart.

"I'm in love with you Rias!" As Issei exclaimed, in the last part Rias was left speechless and her face was starting to turn as red as her crimson hair.

"Eh... Ise could you repeat what you just said," Rias said shyly as she continued to blush.

"I want to protect Rias! I want to protect Rias for the rest of my life! Even if I have to sacrifice my body and my life, I will always be there to protect you and be by your side! Because I truly love you Rias!," right after Issei said that tears were slowly starting to build in Rias eyes.

'Shit I just screwed up big time!'

"You dummy! Don't say that you would die for me. If you die then... who will be there as my boyfriend!"

"I'm so sorry Buchou... wait boyfriend!?"

 "Ise I love you."

"Rias..." Issei was about to say something but his lips got blocked by Rias lips who gave him a deep kiss. Issei could feel her feelings from this kiss. The kiss was not done by lust but for love.
