Chapter 1: Moving?

{Toxic's Pov}
My mommy and daddy said that we'd be moving in a week. But why? I had so many friends I just didn't want to leave them.

"Mommy?" I ask.
"Yes sweetheart?" She turns to me and knelt down.
"Why do we have to move? I wanna stay!"
"I'm really sorry Toxic but your father decided it was the best to move..." She trailed off and picked me up.

Ever since daddy wanted to move is because he didn't like the neighbourhood. But I loved it... As mommy walked upstairs to pack my stuff, tears came running down my face.

"Toxic?" Mommy looked at me.
"I don't wanna leave!!" I screamed with tears. I got out of moms grip and ran outside to say goodbye to my friends.

{One week later}

We bought a house where we live. We moved to the U.S. and it seems really nice here. I giggle at my own thought and run up to my room. As I ran upstairs I see 3 doors and a staircase to the attic. I sigh knowing 1 room was for momma and daddy, and the other 2 were bathrooms... I walk up the stairs to the attic and see it was huge. It was dark also and I got scared. Plus, my birthday was tomorrow and I was turning 7! Yay!!

"Toxic?! Where are you?" I heard father call and I was scared.
"Up here daddy!!" I call back.
"Alright then. Your stuff is here for you! Your bed will be here shortly..."
"K dad!" I heard him drop my suitcase and I ran to get it. I picked it up and went back to the attic. I put up some lights and decorated the attic then mommy and daddy helped put my bed up here. It was a large black bed.

A while later we had supper and went to bed. I sighed and fell on top of my bed in the attic. 'Tomorrow is my birthday...' I think to myself and smile. I fell asleep and had a dream of a pirate fox... It was strange but it made me happy.
