Chapter 4

Sasha

"What do you want with Fiona?"asked Kody.

"None. Of. Your. Business. That's why." The man said.

"Well she's not at school today." I said.

"Because lets see umm i'm not a little girl and I only know because she got sick after lunch yesterday. She had  to go home with her mom and dad."

"He's not her dad!!" The man bellowed

"Anyways  the schools rule is if you get sick after lunch you can't come to school the next day." I told him.

"Well  then I guess your coming with me missy."

At that moment in time i was scared not because he was going to take me but because he held a gun up to me.

"No shes not going with you i'll go." Kody told the man

"No i want her so i'll just have to take you too."

"Tell me what's going on Sasha?" Erin said.

I Whispered "He's taking me and Kody with him."

"Do you know where?"

"No but i can't talk he won't let me or Kody."

"OK but keep the phone on."

We took our bags and sweatshirts because it was cold. The reason it was cold was because we were in a La Nina year. Which means a cold wet winter for the North and a Warm dry South.I only know that because my mom's a meteorologist. We have been in the woods for what feels like at least an hour and a half. It felt like forever my legs were tired and i was cold. When finally we came to a cabin.

"WOW this place is a mansion." Kody said.

"Ya well don't get too comfortable you guys are only here for being my hostages." He said.

"What's a hostage?" I asked.

"Someone who is taken by someone so the kidnapper or killer can negotiate with the cops." Kody told me.

"How do you know that little boy." The man asked.

"First of all i'm not a little boy and second my mother is a P-O-L-I-C-E   O-F-F-I-C-E-R a police officer" Kody spelt and said to the man.
