I was walking alongside Jasper as he gingerly carried Sara. It was now almost noon. Everyone was starting to leave except Jake and Paul who were talking to each other. I smiled at Bella who was sitting on top of Edward's Volvo.

"Jasper, are you sure there's nothing I can do to help?" Bella asked as we got closer.

"Your presence alone," Jasper says not looking away from Sara who was grinning up at him. "Your scent will distract newborns. Their hunting instinct will take over, drive them crazy."

"Good." Bella sighed. "I'm glad. Hey how do you know so much about this?"

That caused Jasper to look up at her before side eyeing me. I gave his arm gently.

"I didn't have the same upbringing as my adopted siblings." Jasper sighed as He took my hand in his trying to walk away.

I frowned slightly as Bella jumped off the car following. Can she not tell he doesn't want to talk about it. Jasper paused looking at her before gently passing me our daughter. He rolled up his sleeve brandishing his arm to her.

Bella looks down at his arm and gasped holding her wrist near his arm where the bastard bit her.

"Those are bites like mine." She says shocked.

"Battle scars." Jasper says. "All the training the Confederate Army gave me, was useless against newborns. Still, I never lost a fight."

"I bet I can beat you once I'm a newborn." I smirked causing Jasper to laugh.

"How about once your turned we wrestle then Darlin?" He says.

"You're on." I grinned.

"This happened during the civil war?" Bella asked bringing our attention to her.

"I was the youngest Major in the Texas cavalry." He smirked proudly. "All without having seen any real battle."

"Until.." Bella pressed annoying me.

"Until I met a certain immortal." Jasper says. "Maria."

"I can't bare to hear this story again." I sighed. "I'm gonna go let Paul see Sara."

"I love you." He whispered pressing his lips to mine.

"Mmm" I hummed. "I love you."

"And I love you Miss Sarabell." Jasper smiled kissing her tiny forehead.

I climb out of Bella's truck with Sara's car seat in my hands. I frowned slightly as Alice walked out of our house with dad.

"Okay, Alice." Dad says. "Don't be a stranger."

"Okay." Alice chirped.

Bella and I look at each other confused before Alice comes skipping over to us.

"Your alibi's for the battle is all arranged." Alice smiled at us.

"Really?" Bella asked shocked.

"I told your father that our whole family's going camping this weekend." Alice explained. "So you and Sara are checking out your guys' cabin that we built, and you and I are having a sleep over at my house. Charlie's going fishing anyway."

"Charlie?" I asked with a laugh.

"You guys run for the same basis now?" Bella asked.

"Me, Jasper and Rose he likes." Alice laughed. "Actually you and Edward will have the house to yourselves tonight."

"Like alone?" Bella asked. "What about Anna and Sara?"

"Oh, they're actually doing what I said." Alice smiled. "We finally got around to finishing the furnishing of their new home."

"Alice I have a big favor by the way." I say.

"What?" She asked.

"Think you and Rose can plan a wedding by July fifteenth?" I smirked.

Alice practically screams jumping up and down excitedly while clapping.

"Yes!" She smirked "That gives us about a month! I gotta call Rose and after the battle we'll send out invitations."

"You and Rose have full reign, Bella will be my maid of honor and you, Rose and Angie will be my bridesmaids." I say.

"Little Sara will be the flower girl!" Alice giggled skipping away.

Bella and I shook our heads at the pixie before heading into the house and in the kitchen. Dad had a fully made sandwich in his hands. I gently sat Sara down before sneaking up behind dad as he talked to Bella. I lean around his arm and take a big bite from his sandwich giggling as he yelled.

"Hey!" He groaned. "Get your own."

I finished chewing as Bella laughed. Once I swallowed I smirked at dad.

"Eh, not bad." I say. "Could use more ketchup."

I get Sara from her car seat handing her to Bella so I could jump onto the counter before making the gimmie motion with my hands. Bella smiled gently placing my daughter in my arms again. I adjusted her so she was slightly propped up looking around.

"Well the sisters and your sister's fiance I like." Dad says finishing off the sandwich.

"Yeah, they're great." Bella nodded going to the sink starting to wash the dishes.

"Hey, dad." Bella says overly casual. "We were wondering, why didn't you get remarried, after mom?"

"I don't know." Dad shrugged. "Guess I still haven't met the right gal. Why?"

"I don't know." Bella mumbled. "I thought you just."

"Maybe you gave up on the who institution of it." I helped Bella spit out.

"Of marriage." Bella continued. "But do you think there's any value in it?"

"Yeah." Dad nodded. "Yeah, marriage has value. When you're older. Much older. Like your mother. It seemed to work out fine for her the second time round. Later in life."

"What about Jasper and I?" I asked.

"I see how he's stuck with you through thick and thin." Dad explained. "He's right for you."

"Awe thanks dad." I smiled.

"You definately don't wanna have to get married, because you weren't careful." Dad says.

"What?" Bella asked confused.

"I was engaged before that happened." I giggled.

"Look, you know what I'm talking about." Dad says. "There's things, that you need to think about it, if you if you gonna be physically intimate."

"Okay." Bella groaned. "Don't enough of the talk."

I cackled nuzzling my nose over Sara's soft whisps of hair.

"Don't you just quit." dad says clearly embarrassed. "It's just as embarrassing for me, as it is for you."

"I doubt that." Bella groaned. "And don't bother, 'cause mom beat you too early ten years ago."

"Well, you didn't have a boyfriend ten years ago." Dad replied finishing making another sandwich.

"Okay, dad." Bella groaned loudly. "Edward's old school."

"Old school, great." Dad groaned. "What's that? Code for something?"

"Oh my god dad." Bella groaned. "I'm a virgin."

"Gah!" Dad groaned setting his sandwich down as Bella ran upstairs.

"Virgin." Dad smirked at me. "Liking Edward a little bit more now."

"I'm not." I smirked.

"If you were I'd be concerned you were another mother Mary." Dad chuckled.

"You'll see mom in about a month." I say while handing him Sara who squealed.

"Why's that?" Dad asked confused while tickling Sara's belly.

"Because it'll be my wedding day." I smirked as he gaped at me.

"Do you even have a dress?" He asked.

"Rose and I are going shopping next week." I grinned.
