Chapter 1

Ivy's pov

"You bitch!" Alpha John screamed at me "yeesh you really can't keep it down can you?" I said mockingly "go to the basement. Liam you know what to do" he said to his beta "wel fuck you!" I screamed at Alpha John.

Let me explain how I got here.

I was living the perfect life well.... kinda. Okay so I was living in the Netherlands with my parents and brother Lucas but when I turned 9 my parents got attacked by people who broke into our house at night, my brother who was 18 at the time. Woke me up at told me we needed to go so we jumped out of my bedroom window and ran I didn't know what was happening at the time but my brother said that it was all gonna be okay, we than ran into a man who was blocking our way. Lucas shoved me behind him. "What do you want?" my brother asked calmly "you guys need to get out of this country because they will kill you" Lucas later on told me he was with the people who broke into our house.

My brother had money on him and got us 2 flights to America. And when we arrived we took a cab to the woods the cab driver warned us about the woods about something dangerous living there but Lucas didn't listen. we walked for 2 days until we reached a village he told me we'd be save. Now 10 years later let me tel you we were never save I learned who those people were and that they're actually a wolf pack, and Alpha John was the leader who would beat me up for 10 god damn years. And the worst part is that my brother let him, I used to be very scared of Alpha John and I would always obey, never talk back but looking back he would always beat me if I listened to him or not.

So I started talking back which meant the punishment would only get worse. But showing emotion every time he or his beta Liam would beat me up? girl I gave that up a long time ago today was no different I woke up feeling fucked. I went outside yeah omg I am allowed outside. And yeah I know that they are wolves and I'm not. so running away would never work since there are guards everywhere. I walked up to the stable to go ride. When I arrived here I had nothing to so I made friends with the horses. I started loving beauty (a beautiful white horse) when I arrived and within a year she got a foal (a baby horse) I called her Snow and soon after she was born beauty sadly passed.

But I started working with Snow and she knows how to do a lot. I also never ride with equipment Alpha says I'm not worth it and I also don't have anything I can hold her with to keep her from running away. But Snow and I are now after 8 years inseparable. I was riding until it got dark. which meant I had to be in the basement for my daily beating. I sat on my bed waiting fot Alpha John but instead his beta Liam knocked on my door. "We are being attacked so the Alpha wants you to wait in his office until everyone of the other pack is dead" I nodded and he walked me to the Alpha's office. He closed the door but didn't lock it so after 10 years I took this as an opportunity.

I ran outside a bloody battle playing in front of my eyes and I saw my brother laying in a pool of blood so I ran to him "Lucas? Lucas! No!" I shook his body violently. I then checked his pulse something my dad thought me. Oh how I miss them. He had no pulse and before I knew it tears were streaming down my face. Screaming brought me back to the violent battle that was going on. I quickly ran to the stable and grabbed Snow by her hair (not hurting her) and led her outside "Hey were do you think you are going?!" shit beta Liam but before I could answer a brown wolf took him down to the ground.

I took my chance and jumped onto Snow and signed for her to start running and so I we ran away from everything that I once knew after a few hours I stopped at a waterfall for Snow to rest and drink and eat some grass I wanted to continue to run but it was getting dark so "I guess we are staying here for the night" I layed down onto the grass and after a while Snow layed down next to me. I woke up to the sun rising and I stood up and stretched myself waking up Snow in the process. I got her and myself ready to go I wanted to get away from the forest and go live amongst the humans. So we started running again

???'s Pov

"Alpha!" Noah my beta slammed the door open. I looked up from my work "a girl passed the borders of our territory" I swore that when a rogue entered my territory I would kill them with my own hands because everyone in these woods knew not to just pass my territory. I slammed my hands on the table and got ready as I followed Noah to where the flad land ends and the forest began. "so where is this girl?" I asked but then girl on a white horse came running towards us. And at this point more wolf warriors came running to us I looked at the girl and as she passed me I looked into her eyes

"Mate" my wolf howled

I saw my pack getting ready to attack her as she kept running further into our territory "stop!" I yelled and everyone stopped in their tracks and looked at me. My mate also stopped, got of the horse and looked at me in fear since there were warriors surrounding her. I quickly got over to where she's standing "mate" I whispered

Ivy's pov

"What?" I looked at him in surprise Lucas had told me a little bit about mates but he can't be my mate because I'm not a wolf. At the thought of Lucas a tear rolled down my face the guy in front of me noticed and reached for me "back the fuck up" he looked surprised at my words "don't you feel this?" he asked what was he talking about this is getting to much for me. lost in thoughts he stepped closer so I grabbed Snow and backed away from him. the warriors still standing in their places, I quickly got on her and ran away from him there was a gap in between the warriors and so I ran back into the forest. hearing them go after me and some point the sounds were gone and I stopped for a bit but only to get grabbed by someone "fuck"

I yelled as I got slammed into a tree I looked up and saw Alpha John "first you talk back and then you think you can run away?" I laughed wel "I did get away didn't I?" he grabbed me by my feet and slammed me into another tree. ow I definitely broke a rib there. he was about to grab me but a brown wolf jumped onto him and bared his teeth at Alpha John. I got up to run to Snow only to realize she wasn't there anymore and as soon as I got up I fell back onto the ground. I was in so much pain thee last thing I heard was his voice calling out to me. Before I blacked out

Ace's pov

"Ace! She's here" I heard my beta yell. I ran trough the trees and saw him holding John down, as I looked the other way I saw my bloody mate laying on the ground I quickly got to her and scooped her up into my arms "I'm taking my mate to Ben, make sure John never gets back to our territory" Noah gave me a nod and I ran back to the pack house well... It was more like a castle half school half dorms. I quickly made my way to the medical ward I layed her on one of the beds before I was shoved out by nurses. I sat down in the waiting room as Dean my other beta walked up to me "so after 6 years you finally found your mate" I looked up to him "yeah but I don't think she felt it"
