Third person POV

-Ben, ben let go of her!! They screamed. The guys were now trying to pull him off of her. When they finally did, a sudden rush of silence filled the cold room along with fear in each of them.

Now hanging sideways and turning a blueish colour, Miranda seemed lifeless.

-What did you just do man? Reid turned to where Ben was pacing still consumed with an anger never experienced like before.

-Shouldn't we do something? Billy was rapidly untying her from the chair she had been sitting on all day. ''Guys, a little help here, shouldn't we at least try to help her or something?''

Ben shifted his way towards billy and cruely added: ''She's already gone!''

''Just at least check her pulse man'' Reid said worridly.

Clift was hanging over Miranda, she was laying on the hard floor, and almost appeared to be paralyzed and into a deep sleep.

He then proceeded to check her pulse, there was one, but it was really faint. He nodded and said: ''There's a pulse, we got to do CPR!''

Reid quickly came over and advised: ''Let me do it.''

Everyone moved and let Reid do what he needed to do.

Anticipation was in the air, this was it, she was either going to live and they could continue this damn thing or she would die; they would be accused of murder or at least Ben would be. It's not like they've done it before, they had killed members from other gangs, but this was different, it was a girl, and one worthed a whole lot of money.

He unbuttened her shirt halfway and started with the compressions, then gave a couple of breaths, first time, second time, third time, nothing. Rick who was now sitting on the ground, knees up to his chest bit anxiously his nails. Was he starting to feel guilty? I mean, he was in fact the guy who got her all in this mess, then in the result she dies and nothing comes out of it? No, they needed the money. They needed her.

Caught in the midst of confusion, life awoke in Miranda's still body.

Miranda's POV

I opened my eyes and started coughing.

''Shh, it's ok, your going to be ok, just relax.'' Reid told me. ''Hey someone go get me a cold wash cloth.''

I stared at him and looked everywhere. Yup, i was still in this damned place where it seemed like i had passed a few days which was in fact only a day. After a few minutes, my breathing became regular and the cold wash cloth that was now resting on my forehead was helping a lot. I was definatly begining to get sleepy, i mean i practically just died, my body was beyond exhausted.

''I'm tired'' i whispered which was barely audible.

''Ok, we'll let you rest, let's leave her now.'' Ben argued as he motionned his look towards the door.

''No, she needs a good place to sleep, i mean if we want her to get better faster, she should at least sleep in a bed.'' Reid commented.

''We're not that nice.'' Ben teased with a goofy expression.

''He's right.'' Rick added.

Reid turned his face and said: ''She can come sleep with me.''

Ben let out a sigh and replied with a: ''Fine, whatever man.'' He was heading towards the door when he suddenly stopped and said: ''Better watch that bitch carefully!'' and continued on his way to who knows where. That prick i thought as i felt myself being lifted off the ground in someone's nice built chest which belonged to most likely Reid's. His scent was sweet and comforting. It felt too good at the time. We went up the stairs and i landed on a nice soft bed which almost felt like a big fluffy cloud. In a matter of seconds i felt myself drifting off in a well deserved sleep.
