opposites attract

  Hey guys!!! First off if you are reading this I already love you to death. I am just a young girl who one day dreams of becoming a writer. This is not perfect or even maybe publish ready, but I put a lot of effort. Please tell me what you think and I will try to update every other day or so!! ENJOY!!! ^-^

CHAPTER 1: Laura's *P.O.V*

I walk into my room, extremely excited. My parents told me that today the new neighbors were officially moving in.

We were going to go to dinner with them, because they were my parents new co-workers. I didn't know a lot about them just that they have an only child my age. I hope it was a girl, I already have an older brother his name is Russel, he lives in Rome.

He studies for a living, he studies everything about mythology. He goes to this school were they all study that. He is 25 years old and still single which, honestly, is no surprise. I don't mean to be rude he is amazing and pretty good looking the problem is he is a huge nerd.  Coming from me it means a lot. It's just something girls don't usually like. He is good looking I suppose, he looks a lot like me with the same olive colored skin, thick black hair, and hazel green eyes. The only thing he talks about though is something none of us can understand.

When I grow up I plan on becoming an architect. My brother said I reminded him a lot of the Greek goddess Athena. Single, pretty, smart, and dangerous. He said I was dangerous because I took boxing. I had straight A's, I wasn't ugly, and never have had a boyfriend or a first kiss. I planned on looking for someone once I was finished with college, so around my late twenties. I knew i was sad just like my brother but I belive in keeping a good career, not to be ruined by anything especially a boy. I planned to never fall in love. I planned on never meeting a guy to change that. Well, then again it was up to fate....
