The Legend Of Kai And Taila Book Two: Blood

Episode 7: Death Reigning

*bleeding hearts gang base* Katrina,Kai and Taila begin fighting the groups of people holding and bunch of blood weapons. And Kai faces Kokoro as he is dodging and shooting fire at him. And Kokoro is trying to shoot shards of blood at him and one stabs him into the back and he falls over. "No" Katrina screams and goes onto her knees and tries to put pressure on the wound. And then Tang runs in and pushes Taila outta the way. "All of you let me handle this get the hell outta here" Tang yells. Then Kai gets um and limps outta the room and they wait outside the base sitting on the ground outside.

Back inside the base Tang is fighting Kokoro but he is bleeding and losing the fight and then Katrina runs back into the base. "Oh my God what are you doing why are you going back in there" Taila screams. By the time Katrina ran in Tang is laying on his back with a sword stabbed threw his face now dead. And Kokoro gets up with his clothes all damaged and most of his mask broken off his face. " I have to admit Tang was hard to defeat he had the heart of a soldier but unfortunately for him he was against me and I can't let that happen" Kokoro yells.

Then Katrina grabs a sword off the ground and runs up to stab Kokoro but he uses bloodbending and brings her into the air and then Kai and Taila run back into the base. To see Katrina floating in the air from bloodbending. "Guys I can't lose you to please go back outside" Katrina cries. Then Kai runs up to Kokoro. "That's a mistake" Kokoro yells. And then crushes Katrinas skull and she falls over. "No" Kai screams and cries and then Taila falls to her knees crying.

"I told you I was serious about my work I don't have a life so I thought I should take away what makes yours special also Katrina once you enter the spirit world say hello to Tyson for me" Kokoro yells and then runs outta the base. "Your ahhhhhhhh you can't run away from this Kokoro I will find you" Kai yells. Then he runs to the door and opens it but Kokoro isn't in site. "It's okay I am just glad I can reunite with Tyson I am so sorry I shouldn't have come back inside" are Katrina's last words before drifting to death.

*one week later* Kai and Taila and Li Mei are at a funeral home inside and looking at the framed picture of Katrina and her casket. They barried her next to Tyson. And then Kai and Taila head home and Kai looks into a mail box and it contains a letter from the fire nation and Republic city council who are the people that run republic city and the fire nation It reads "we are sorry about your mother and we wish her the best but at this time you are the next runner for the Fire lord and since you don't have an adult looking after you anymore we have decided for a ceremony in a few days where we will crown you Fire lord".

Kai burns the letter in his hand and they head inside the mansion and Kai goes and makes some food. And then pouts and cries for the rest of the night. And since Li Mei doesn't have parents anymore she is staying at the mansion. And she goes to sleep too.
