"FL-" Azul covered my mouth and pointed to a door that was slightly opened. As we stepped closer we heard whispers. Floyd and Jade seemed to be whispering about something, but even as a whisper, I could tell Floyd was trying to not break out into sobs, due to how his voice was breaking.
"I-It's not true.... I-It's not..." Floyd said and Jade only gently replied "If you don't remember, then it never happened, these ultimate talents are dumb anyway, we can't believe what we saw."
Floyd's voice was even more serious, but not nearly breaking as much as before. "...Yo...You don't believe yours right?"
Jade didn't respond but Azul opened the door, "There you two are!" Azul shoved me out of the doors way, so Floyd and Jade wouldn't see me.
Both of the twins attitudes changed instantly "Hey Azul~! Wazzup~?"
"Don't you 'wazzup' ME Floyd! Where were you two going?! No wait, what were you thinking?!"
Their conversation drowned out in my thoughts.
What were they so panicked about? Something about what Floyd had seen had obviously sent him into a panic.
Now with Jade, things weren't nearly as obvious.
He could've seen something not nearly as bad, nd that would be the best option, but most unlikely due to one fo Floyd's earlier questions to him.
There's the chance it was just as bad as Floyd's, but he has a much better composure, which I believe must be the case.
Or the final one is that its their ultimates that are scaring them, something bad with each one.
"Riddle!" I felt someone shake me from my thoughts and saw it was Malleus.
"Oh, hey" I said and he smiled and with a cheerful voice he said "Good your thinking again!"
I didn't think THE Malleus Draconia would be this happy.
"Oh um, thank you for snapping me out of it-" I peered into the room and saw the three still there, only all of Draconia along with Trey and Cater were there as well.
"Forgive our rudeness, we did not understand the worry we would be sending you all into." Jade bowed in apology and Floyd's face lit up when he saw me.
"Goldfishie~!" He ran over and hugged me, I fought the urge to push him off. "Hello Floyd-"
He lifted me up and spun me around. "Fl-Floyd! Put me down this isntant!"
Floyd only whined and held me like a little baby, then walked back over to the others.
"So what are your ultimates?" Cater asked with a smile and Jade returned it while Floyd scoffed.
"I'm the Ultimate Waiter."
