Chapter 8: Orange of The Rainbow

Btw I feel like Momoi is part of the GOM, but in this many people dont think she is. The GOM all accept her as part of The GOM. Yey....

After they all had the scare of their lives (and learnt to never make Shoyo angry), they hoped that the rest of training camp could go smoothly... and boy were they wrong.

The basketball teams thought it was weird that the GOM are always talking to the tangerine shrimp that's from the volleyball teams.

The volleyball teams thought it was weird that the almost complete rainbow of people from the basketball teams are talking to their tangerine sunshine.

Something that someone said that was ment as an insult revealed something.

The teams all finished practice for the day. The coaches and managers(minus Riko and Momoi) either sat at a corner of the gym

The GOM went to said tangerine boy, Momoi running ahead to hug Shoyo. This has been a recurring site to the teams and Riko.

Riko sat at the bench areas where most of the basketball teams were. The past few days, she's been trying to figure out how the tangerine is connected to the GOM.

Kuroko and the Kiseki No Sendai has been hanging out with that shrimp... a lot recently. Kuroko doesn't even bother asking to practice.

I don't like this. Who does that Tangerine think he is shining so bright and stealing away my shadow?!

THAT'S IT! I'M CONFRONTING THEM!

I stomp over to the GOM+ Pinky hair and shrimp.

"Oi Kuroko! Who the frick is he?! I don't get why you hang out with a weak shrimp like him! Come on, let's play some!" I said.

The GOM and Momoi stared at Kagami in confusion.

"Kagami-kun do you even know who Shoyo is?" Tetsuya asked Kagami.

"Should I know him? Anyways it's not like a weak shrimp like him is part of the GOM... right?" The GOM just looked at him in horror.

"It's not like shrimpy here is the orange color to your rainbow. That'd be hilarious seeing as how weak shrimpy is. Haha" Tsukishima added, expecting Shoyo or the GOM to agrue back.

".... that's ½ correct I guess..." Akashi said.

There was silence for a minute. Everyone was processing what Akashi just said.

"HUH?!/ WHAT?!/ EHH?!/ wait.. " Most of them shouted. They were all staring wide-eyed at the Tangerine, that was now shaking his head.

"NO WAY IN FUCKING HELL THAT SHRIMP CAN PLAY!" Kagami said.

"But he's t-" Kise was cut off.

"Shh! *Sighs* Guess I now have no choice to prove that I can since someone stupidly revealed one of my other secrets." Shoyo said sarcastically, and rolled his eyes.

'He's gonna get destroyed... Good luck to him..'The whole of the GOM thought this.

"Oi, you.. Bakagami! If you really think that Im a weaka- weak person. How bout a 1v1. First to 5 baskets wins." Shoyo said looking bored.

"HAH! YOU'RE GONNA GET TRASHED! AND DONT CALL ME THAT SHRIMPY!" Kagami shouted to him.

The teams watched in silence and shock as the ball bounced on the floor. Shoyo was hanging from the hoop, looking bored at Kagami who was sitting on the floor looking at him in shock.

Shoyo completely trashed him, 5-0 baskets. What made it more interesting was that it took a minute and half. Him getting two 3 pointers and three 2 pointers. He landed on the floor with a thud.

Shoyo looked at Kagami in...... disappointment?

"How can this weak person be your new light Tetsuya?" He said looking at the GOM. "He can't even draw out your full potential. Not even half of it. At least Ahomine could. But him... not more than 30% of it." The basketball teams look at him in shock.

"That may be true, but Kuroko managed to bring him and his team to do Direct Drive Zone." Aomine defended.

"So what? Just because he can pull his team into the Zone's true form, doesn't mean he can bring out all his members' fullest potential." Shoyo fought back.

"He-......" Aomine shut up knowing he lost.

"Anyways, Tetsuya knows it best. Am I right, Ku-ro?" Shoyo asked, grinning.

"....I will not answer that right now.." Tetsuya said.

"*sighs* How can you be satisfied with that Tetsuya? Honestly..." Shoyo didn't finish the sentence because he might affect Kagami. "But he did manage to beat Mine-kun. No no. Mine-kun just got in the zone earlier. So he was drained of energy. But still.... FUCK! What the hell am I talking about. Aside from that all. He is still worthy enough to even have most of the Kiseki's respect.. Dong-Sun, train more with him.. at least till he manages to drive out more of your potential. 30% is too weak. Honestly, he could've been one of us. Whatever Im not gomna waste more time. Kagami-kun work on using Tetsuya more. Rely on him. Try to do that the next practice. It doesn't matter if you lose it. Just focus on you and Tetsuya... If you can't even do that, I don't know what to do already." Shoyo said, mumbling the last part to himself.

"That aside... now that people know I'm a part of the Kiseki. Let's play some ball yea." Shoyo turned to the GOM. They all have a little smile on their face. "Hai!/HAI!!"

The the 7 play 3 vs 4. Shoyo was on the team with 3 people. They played happily. Throwing jokes, happy insults and making small talk with each other. This was the first time anyone has seen them played so happily with their hearts.

'Just like the old days. How I miss this.' Shoyo thought as he scored another point of of Murasakibara.
