When the virus first started to spread everyone thought it was a joke. It quickly became apparent that it was not. Zombies, who would have thought of all things that would be mankind's downfall. Though zombie is too comical for what these monsters are. Disgusting repulsive monsters that don't care if you are young or old, good or bad, friends or strangers. These things are what we should be worried about, but even now when we should depend on each other the most some of us our a bigger threat than the dead. There are those who choose to turn there back on others, their own survival coming first. Don't lose hope, there are people out there who care and only wish to help.

Rules:
1. No op characters be realistic. Don't be dumb running into a horde and getting out unscathed is not realistic. If you do this there has to be a negative outcome.
2. Any smut is skipped or take it to your pms.
3. Ask someone to crush on their oc don't force a love between them. And don't say 'we are in love after meeting five minutes ago' like no. It takes time.

Once you get to know her though you learn she truly is a teddy bear who loves everyone and just wants everyone to be safe. She can be very sweet and loving.

Backstory: Courtney had a rough childhood growing. Her parents were very religious and when she got caught kissing a girl her parents tried to send her to a camp to make her straight. So Courtney ran away at age 14 and never looked back. She was homeless for all 4 years. She just stayed with people for a few days then left when she was told too. She finished high school and meet a girl named Eliza. The two fell in love and went to college together. Courtney went for being a scientist while Eliza was a nurse. They both decided to have a baby which Eliza carried for them and got married. They had a little boy named Carson. When Carson turned 5 that's when the outbreak happened. Courtney and Eliza were with Carson at the mall when it started. Courtney wasn't a fast runner so she had Eliza run to the car with Carson while she stopped infected. Unfortunately when Eliza was attacked. Courtney wasn't fast enough to save her wife or son. She lost both of them when it started. Now she just tries to survive for them
