Woke up and saw the date. It's the day I'll get to know whether I'll be THE one or not.
Ivy has been restless since morning regarding the lucky draw. She wants the clock to quickly tick 12 so that we get to know who the lucky one is.
I told Ivy that I was going to the bakery for I had to open it. It is a Saturday so the workload would be extra today. People recently have been loving the Night out cookies which is now the spotlight of our bakery and so I had to get everything organised for the rush might start anytime.

As soon as I settled everything, customers started coming and what a day! Luck is favouring me today!
I HAVE A HUGE INSTINCT THAT I'M WINNING THE LUCKY DRAW!!!I GUESS GOD HAS GOT LUCK ON MY SIDE!!!
The bakery was closed by 8 pm and I got back home tired!
Ivy already ate and I had no appetite so I went freshened up, took a power nap and got ready to visit Peppery Harmony.
We got there right in time it was 11:55 now when the crowd gathered around that huge basket where the coupouns were!
The store manager came at 11:59, opened the basket shuffled the coupouns and right when the seconds hand struck 12:00 he had THE lucky coupoun in his hand.
Fingers crossed, eyes closed, heart thumping, knots in stomach and then he announced the name...and the name was IRIS HANSLEY!!!!
It took me a minute to absorb what had happened and then Ivy shouted so loud and hugged me so hard that i started crying. Well those tears were not of pain but happiness that luck was on my side this time!!!
They asked if I was there and Ivy shouted YESSS SIR!LUCK WAS NOT A BITCH THIS TIME! and everyone started laughing!
I went there and took the brochure which said that I was finally travelling around!!Also I was excited to see who the strange would be.
Time skip
We bought ice cream on the way to celebrate our day! Reaching home Ivy took the brochure and read the contents which stated that I was selected to go on a trip which would be of 10 days with a stranger about whom I'll get to know on the day of departure which would be on the 20th of July.

"Ivy will you be able to look after yourself for those 17 days? " I asked with patience and a hint of worry in my voice.
"Irry trust me I'll do fine, moreover I have Aunt Holly just next door. If I'll need something then I have her to provide me with. Also don't worry about the bakery I'll look after it too! You go and enjoy yourself! " said Ivy with a sense of responsibility.
"You sure my love? "
"Yes Irry, don't worry" she reassured me.
I was so proud of my sister. She has grown so well and now I'll see a responsible side of her.
I kissed her forehead and patted her.
Then I realized that I had so much to pack within so short of a time. We slept at the earliest as now we had a long day in front of us.
