Change of Heart

Soon after, Eros still didn't quite like Diana but he respected her to the point of calling her lady Diana instead of wench.

Only a few weeks until Diana gives birth to the princess, Claude and Diana had an agreement...

Claude walks in Diana's room.

He walks up to Diana.

Diana starts crying.

Diana jumps to Claude grabbing both of her arms, one of his hands on each arm.

"Why don't you pick me!!!"

"Choose me!!!, I'll beg if I have to!!!"

"Y-your majesty..."

While this is happening, the twins are currently laying in bed.

"You still don't like Diana? "

"I'm trying my best"

And with that, the twins fell asleep.

They wake up to a maids waking them up to see their father.

They walk in Claudes office.

"Good morning father"

The twins say.

"Where's Diana"

Claude stays silent.

"Where's lady Diana? "

Eros repeats Apollo's question.

"She's been moved to the Ruby Palace"

"What why?!"

Apollo says.

"Because...i guess you can say...i had a change of heart"

The twins stand there while Claude's eyes start glowing a bright blue.

"I realized that we don't need her In our lives"

"I'm guessing this is how he stopped paying attention to Diana"

Apollo says In his mind.

"If thats how you feel father, then that's how you feel"

Eros says.

"But is the princess still gonna be in our lives-"

While Eros says this Claude's eyes start glowing more.

"Of course not, she will no longer be considered a princess of this Empire"

Eros gets shocked hearing Claude say this.

"Vary well then father"

Apollo says.

"Then is she gonna be a burden"

Eros says.

"I guess you can say that Eros, Apollo do you approve of this? "

Apollo nods in approval.

"Alright then..."

The day came for the princess to be bron.

Claude, Apollo, and Eros were in Claudes office talking about something due to the conflict of neighboring countries.

While they were talking, a maid came in.

"Your majesty..."

"What"

"Lady Diana has given birth"

"What's the child's name"

"Athanasia"

Claude hearing this made his teeth clinch together.

"And lady Diana has passed"

Apollo standing their while Eros shocked and Claude looks unfazed.

"Alright then...you may leave"

"Of course your majesty"

The maid leaves.

Claude gets up.

"Where are you going father? "

"To see that bug of a child"

"I wanna come-"

"No, you two stay here"

After Claude kills every person in the Ruby palace and sparing Athanasias life.

He makes he's way to his office.

Apollo and Eros see blood on Claudes clothes.

Eros shocked while Apollo knows what happened due to him reading the novel.

"F-Father what happened?!, are you hurt?! "

"I'm fine Eros, it's just I little blood"

"Father, did you kill...Athanasia..."

"Of course not..., why would you ask? "

"Just asking"

"Like I said she's not considered a princess...even though that wench named her Athanasia without my permission..."

"Alright..."
