(5) Sparks And Flickering Lights

Will it be normal to experience something crazy like this everyday for the next 29 days or so? You hoped for both yes and no at the same time...

~ Y/N POV ~

You made your way back to the spare party room to retrieve your phone. You walked past the rooms, whistling your favourite tune, (fav tune), whilst keeping your hands in your pockets. Attempting to navigate the facility from the darkness, you notice the facility had gone colder than before. "Did they for-forget to pay their heater bill or so-something? Brrr it's c-cold..."

You continued walking through until your vision began to get blurry. You had heard familiar heavy footsteps approach you, but each footstep seemed way more rushed and urgent.

"Y/n!" Was the last thing you heard before losing consciousness. What a drag...

~ A few hours later... ~

You woke up in a cold sweat in the breaker room you had recognised.

"Ughh... I feel so lightheaded... What even happened there..?" You held your head in your hands.

"Well...I'm pretty sure you fainted from the sudden temperature decrease. It kind of got colder to save more money. Just like the lights were turned off. Oh right! Are you okay?" You heard a feminine, yet familiar voice say from right beside you. But it wasn't who you had expected.

"Yeah, I'm alright." You looked to your left to see Baby and Foxy look over you, their faces full or worry.

"That's good to know! Also uhhh... Freddy is worried sick about you. He's uhhh-" Foxy leaned in closer to you.

"I think he thinks you're dead." You took this as a surprise, but still giggled.

"Uhhhh-oh... Where is he now?"

"Well they're both back in the breaker room." He cooed softly back in your ears.

You stood up, hoping to explain the concept of fainting to a childlike animatronic but was stopped midway by Ballora.

"Rest, child. Don't strain yourself too hard. Baby managed to increase the temperature to one of a humans likeness. But it can only stay this way for about..." She stated, holding out her fingers, as if to count how long.

"About 3 hours only. Fortunately, the breaker room's temperature is acceptable for humans to prevent the wires from stiffening up and breaking so you'd have to stay there till maintenance ends." You looked down in defeat, Isolate myself in a room, with an animatronic bear for the next 28 days? There's gotta be a way to alter the temperature or something.

"O-ok then. Thanks Ballora!" You travelled back to the party room. How am I gonna explain this concept to Freddy without him getting worried about me.

Your deliberation was cut short by bumping into something metallic. You propped your head in your hands, the pain from before coming and going. You looked up to see Baby with holding out her right hand to offer help. You held her hands as a support and managed to get up. You stumbled now and then from the headache.

"Sorry 'bout that y/n, but may we talk?" Her tone seemed a little more serious, even with the permanent smile she had been given. She held out her hand yet again.
