Hello, thanks for reading, I know the chapters are a little short for now, but it will get interesting, I promise.
Take a breath. I don't have to worry about my Social Studies homework now. I settle down and play some video games on my phone. Dingdong! Mom is home. She comes in and asks," No homework?". " It is the last week of school, we don't get homework.". I reply curtly, not mentioning the interview. She sighs and settles in to the living room, turning on the news.
I stopped playing on my phone and stared at the screen in front of me. Sports, Weather. Boring. Honestly the only thing I'm interested is the murders and the kidnaps. I'm tuning into the TV now, and I can't believe my eyes.
It's Sophie. Dead. Blood everywhere in her apartment. The shock of it went through my body like lightning. It wasn't just the fact the I had no one to interview for my project, but the feeling you get when you see the lifeless body of a person whom you have known and respected was a little upsetting.
