family life:

blossoms eomma and mom were best friends throughout high school because they were both lgbtq+ and it wasn't accepted as much as it is now. blossoms mom is from japan but moved to korea when she was 13 with her family and blossoms eomma was raised in korea her whole life. when they were 19, blossoms eomma had to move to the states with her family. then blossoms mom started dating a guy for 3 years and ended up getting pregnant with blossom. once the boyfriend found out he left blossoms mom and blossoms eomma found out about what happened and told blossoms mom she could stay with her in the states to figure out what to do.
when blossoms mom got to seattle she didn't want to give up the baby so she stayed in seattle where blossoms eomma told her she liked her and how she wanted to help take care of the baby. that was maybe 4 months after blossoms mom moved to the states they started dating blah blah blah and then blossom was born, being the first baby of the year. blossom grew up with her moms, blossoms mom proposing to her eomma when she was 3.
she only knows her grandparents on her eommas side because her grandparents on her moms side aren't accepting of her mothers' relationship but she is close with her cousins, aunts, and uncles on both sides.
