𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞 ༄ؘ

#1 ⟶ The killing of a clanmate is prohibited and punishable by execution.

#2 ⟶ The leader's word is law.

#3 ⟶ Skywatchers may not take mates.

#4 ⟶ Fraternizing with enemy clans—except when at a Gathering, is prohibited.

#5 ⟶ Skywatchers, queens, kits, and elders are to be fed before any other cat.

#6 ⟶ No cat of CoveClan is permitted to swim in a storm, under any circumstances.

#7 ⟶ Mating and reproducing with any cat outside of CoveClan is prohibited—however, if this occurs, the offspring must either be split equally between the two clans—the majority with the mother, or one of the parents must join the other's clan permanently.

#8 ⟶ No half-clan cat is allowed to ascend to any rank higher than warrior.

#9 ⟶ Kits must never leave the camp.

#10 ⟶ Kits must be six moons old to become apprentices.

#11 ⟶ No cat is to swim until they are above the age of ten moons.

#12 ⟶ Prey is killed only to be eaten.

#13 ⟶ Gatherings must be held every moon, starting at dusk and continuing till moonhigh. A minimum of eight cats must be taken, including all the major ranks.

#14 ⟶ At every half moon, the skywatcher from each clan must travel to the Stone Hill to commune with SkyClan.

#15 ⟶ The curers and skywatchers are granted safe passage through all territory.

#16 ⟶ Holding hostages above the age of six moons is allowed, but discouraged. A clan may vote on whether to let the hostage go free or not.

#17 ⟶ The Herd must be monitored every day.
