Pick Up The Pieces

chapter 1

Tate's Pov

As I sat down in my compartment I realized I had left my money in my trunk.
"this can't get any worse" I thought,
as soon as I look up, I see my twin brother, Theo.
"what's up asshole" he said, rude much?
"i've been looking for you, why'd your run away like you knew where you were going?"

"its because i didnt want to see your friends, you dickhead" I thought, I didn't say it out loud because his friends started to pile in MY compartment that I found. Oh.. fuck me, in walks in Draco Malfoy. The platinum blonde, arrogant, fucking asshole, of a boy.

I only knew Malfoy threw our families, him and Theo were the best of friends, and me and Lilly were the best of friends, Lilly Malfoy. She'd been my best friend ever since the first christmas we had with the Malfoys.

"earth to Tate, hello?" Theo said while waving his hand in my face, I think I zoned out.

"fucking christ Theo get your hand out of my face" I said as I looked over at Malfoy.He was much taller than he was when I last saw him, more muscular than usual. Fucking shit what am I thinking.

"Take a picture it'll last longer" I snap out of my gaze and notice who said it. Malfoy. I was staring at him. FUCK!

"Yeah like i'd want a picture of you, ass hat"
oh my god, why would I say that? I'm an idiot.

"Well from the looks of it, you would" he smirked.

"oh fuck off" I said as I walked out of the compartment.

I kept walking down the train, looking for an empty compartment, until I ran into someone, or some people...
"hey watch out dick- LILLY!! EMERALD!!?"
Emerald had been a family friend just like lilly, we had all been inseperable ever since we met.

"Thank fucking god we found you, Blaise, Draco, and your brother were looking for you and we were hoping to find you before they did because you know about Drac-"

"Yeah you know your in lov- "

"SHH SHUT UP BITCHES" no, I'm not 'in love' with Malfoy, they just think I still am.
I had a crush on Malfoy at the ages of 8-13
and they never let me hear the end of it.

We kept walking until we finally found a compartment to sit in.
"So, Tate.." they said with an excited face

"So, guys"  I said laughing..

"Are you ready to get sorted?" Lilly said, no I wasn't, I knew what house I was gonna get, and it was with the one person I hate the most.  " Not really, Mostly just annoyed because I know what house I'm gonna get already. And it's definately NOT the one I want." I said while picking at my nails.

"Stop, you'll get the one you want truly, the hat will listen you know." Emerald said with a smile. She always knows how to make me feel better, even in my worst state.
