"look y/n, its not like youre awful at math but we both know that you are really slow at solving the excersises which is also why you didn't do that well in the test"
"yeah but I can change if I practice enough"
"No. A tutor would definitely help you more. You also need someone to help you with the new lessons because they confuse you and just slow you down even more, dont they?

The lesson hadn't started yet and you were currently talking with your math teacher, ms Jean.
You always knew that you werent the best at math. Your logic at solving excersises was fine and you could solve the hard problems after thinking for a while. The problem however, was how slow you were at everything concerning math. You'd get confused really easly and even after studying a lot you would still be really slow.
You had to agree. You definetily did need a tutor, atleast just for a month or something, but you weren't ready to accept that
Ms Jean noticed that you were in deep thought:
"Dont worry, there are many students like you. We just have to fix the problem right as it starts before it gets worse!" she said in a positive tone
"yeah I suppose.."
"good thing that I have found the perfect tutor fot you!"
"Ah who is it?"
"He's a really fast learner and really good at math!"

"I have noticed that you two are already friends but try not to get distracted and actually focus on math alright?" she chuckled
"But miss Jean.. Are you sure HE is the best option?"
"Its alright, I talked with him and he's good with it! You two will do great!"
