As I'm fixing my curls I get a FaceTime call from my best friend, Markailyn, "Heyy Girl, what's up?" "Nothing much wishing it's not Monday." As I brush out my last curl. "Shoot I wish I can say the same, I'm excited about today." I confusingly lifted my eyebrow; I know this girl didn't just say she was excited for today. "Markailyn who came into your life?" I said as I put my curling iron away. "I'm expecting to get a puppy!" She squealed like a child. "Aww, you're getting it today?" I asked, "Hopefully!" Time goes by and I've been talking to this girl for 45 minutes, "GIRL, I'll see you at work I'm going to be late!" I quickly turned my phone off and turned off all the lights as I made my way to get my keys.
I put my key in the car and drove off to Starbucks. I ordered my go-to drink, which was a caramel Frappuccino. I used my card to enter my office and began my work. 20 minutes later I heard a knock at my door, "Come in!" A tall brown skin entered my room, and my eyes examined her from up and down left and right.GYATT this girl is fine, and I know that she knows too, " I'm here for the interview." She said in low calm way, " Ok give me a minute to pull up your record." As I reached in my pile of files, I glanced at her to notice she was already looking at me. I blushed like crazy, but somehow covered it," Ok your record is Incredibly amazing, all I need you to do now is sign right here and you start your job tomorrow!" I gave her my pen and she took it and signed her name while staring at me. I smiled at as she gave my pen back, " Thank you Miss. Wright, your schedule is on the table with all the information you need, have a good night. "Thank you, Ms. Williams, I'll see you tomorrow too." She left with a warm smile on her face as she left.
2 Hour later As I was finishing my paperwork, I still couldn't forget her. Even though we had one interaction she left a mark that couldn't be removed by anyone. I want to find her. I needto find her. During my lunch break, I went to the lounge to talk to Markailyn, " I'm telling you this girl was a goddess." I said while drink my coffee, "Now Kiana you know dang well what's going to happen." She said while stirring her coffee. I rolled my eyes , I want to get close to girl, I never felt this way.
