tw: homophobia
"Seungmin, get ready, we have to see your cousin in an hour!" Mrs. Kim hollered.
Seungmin hated seeing his cousin, Hyunwoo. (idk it was the first name i thought of)
Hyunwoo was always in his business and judging him for the smallest things ("Why don't you heat up your pizza? It tastes better hot.")
The good news was he'd get to see his aunt who always had money for him. He needed some money because him and Changbin's one-month anniversary of being boyfriends was coming up in a few weeks and he wanted to get him a present.
Not just any present, something thoughtful. He wasn't sure what yet, but he knew he'd find the perfect one when the time came.

Once they arrived at Hyunwoo's house, Seungmin's aunt asked him to help Hyunwoo set the table. Seungmin wanted to argue, but he knew if anything went wrong tonight he wouldn't get the money.
So he set his phone down on the counter and went to grab the napkins and silverware.
"Still short I see," his cousin remarked.
I could say the same about your dick, he wanted to say.
But he didn't, instead he just nodded.
Finally it was time to eat.
Maybe he'll finally shut up once he has all that food in his mouth, Seungmin hoped.ping
"Seungmin, honey, was that your phone?" his aunt asked.
"Yeah, I'll go turn it off real quick," Seungmin said standing up.
Suddenly, he glanced at Hyunwoo to see that he was looking at the last place he him wanted to.
There lie his phone face up, the screen lit up from the notification. His lockscreen on display.
"Why are you kissing that guy?" Hyunwoo asked, "Is he your boyfriend," he mocked.
"umm no," seungmin started, "just a friend."
seungmin quickly grabbed his phone and sat down.
"Was it him who texted you? I bet it was. I bet he told you he wanted to have gay sex with you," Hyunwoo laughed like this was the funniest thing in the world. He continued on snorting with laughter after each awful thing he said.
seungmin was embarrassed, he was hurt, the only person he wanted to see right now was also the last person he wanted to see.
he wanted to cuddle with changbin, burry his face into his chest, and cry.
he wanted changbin to tell him that none of what hyunwoo was saying was true, that it didn't matter, that he loved him.
but also, he wanted to stay far away from him for fear of what hyunwoo was saying about them really could be true.
now seungmin's aunt was intervening, telling her son to stop, but seungmin couldn't comprehend anything anymore. it was like he was alone, just him and his thoughts.
don't cry, don't cry, don't cry, you'd only prove his point.
seungmin finally got up and went to the bathroom.
seungmin wanted to text changbin so changbin could make him feel like everything was alright, but he was afraid.
afraid that changbin might agree.
deep down he knew this was irrational, but he couldn't fight the feeling that maybe, just maybe, everything his cousin said was true.
maybe changbin didn't even really love him at all.
