Episode 14: Is Love Getting What You Want?

Anthony is a little nervous, knocking on the door. The woman he met online has invited him over her place. Not wanting to show his wrecked nerves, he puts on a huge smile when she opens the door.

"Damn you look fine girl!"

"You looking sexy as hell yourself," Mya says, pulling him inside.

"So what now?"

"Well he's not here yet, but he's on his way."

"And he's down for an open relationship too?" he says with a worried look on his face.

"That's what he said."

"I've never done this before, so you gonna have to walk me through this again."

"Well I want him to know who else I'm going to be talking to and hanging out with. He needs to understand that there's a possibility we may become sexually active, but that's another conversation," she says, smiling the whole time. She is excited she has found two men that are open to trying this. She can't wait to tell Louise.

"Where did you meet him? 

"On Facebook."

"Damn girl! You be on all the sites," he says in a playful tone.

Mya smiles and nods in agreeance. Just then she hears a knock on the door. It's Ben.

"What up sexy!" he says greeting her with a hug.

"How you doin with your fine ass self. Come on he's in here."

He nervously follows in behind her, not sure what to expect. He reaches the sitting area and stops in his tracks.

"What the hell!" both men scream.

"What?" Mya asks looking extremely confused.

"I know this ni**a," Ben says with a confused look on his face, "what the hell are you doing?"

"Man I'm done with Tina. I left her a**!"

"I thought ya'll were "taking a "break"," Ben says sarcastically.

"Yeah I thought about it though. I'll never be able to trust her ass ever again. I called her and told her I was done. She got upset and said she might as well get back on OnlyFans."

Mya suddenly has a lightbulb moment.

"Tina!? Like Tina, Tina?"

"Yes," Ben says hesitantly.

"What in the hell! How does that even happen??"

"Yeah this is crazy as hell," Anthony adds.

"So does this change anything?" Mya says, intentionally ignoring the craziness of the situation. She is not going to let her opportunity to have an open relationship slip away, just because these guys know each other.

"Shit," is all Ben could think to say.

"Isn't that a good thing that ya'll know each other?" she says, pleading her case.

"I guess," Anthony replies with obvious hesitation in his voice.

The men look at each other and shrug their shoulders. Neither want to let this beautiful and sexy woman get away.

"So what are you asking for?" Ben says, breaking the silence.

"Basically I want to be able to talk and hang out with both of you guys. I feel we connected on a different level and don't want to give that up with either of you."

"And that's it?" Anthony says, a little doubtful.

"I ain't gonna lie. Somebody gotta give me some. If ya'll are fine with both, that's what I'd prefer," she says with a huge grin on her face.

Ben thinks about how he just stopped sleeping with someone that he knew was sleeping with someone else. Even crazier, this was the same guy. He knows he can't say anything, because Anthony never found out.

"Well, I've been in a similar situation, so I don't care," he finally says, giving in to the temptation of sleeping with Mya.

Anthony takes a deep breath and looks up, still thinking about it.

"Alright," he says, still a little hesitant.

"We just have to set some boundaries, cuz I'm not going to be fighting for attention."

Mya gives him a sweet and innocent look.

"Of course not. We can discuss all that. Open relationships are about being transparent and...well open!"

They spend the rest of the evening talking and discussing how to proceed with being in an open relationship. Mya is ecstatic and can't wait to tell Louise.

"This is gonna be great!" she thinks to herself, with a hug grin on her face.

"I can't believe that hefer actually did it," Louise thinks to herself, as she gets off the phone with Mya.

"Hey babe, can I borrow your laptop? Mine is acting crazy" she says, turning her attention to Rondell. They have been doing well, and that's exactly what Louise wanted to happen.

"Of course you can."

Louise is a little surprised how quickly he responded. She figured he would say yes, but she expected him try and check to make sure he didn't leave anything open. She takes it into the bedroom.

"Hmm...you got to be shittin me," she thinks to herself, looking through his history. Although she should be relieved, she can't help but to be a little annoyed. She grabs her phone and rings Mya back.

"Girl! This ni**a actually been on job search sites! I can't find anything in his history from OnlyFans."

"Isn't that a good thing," Mya says in a confused tone.

"Yeah but I just...I...he...this just can't be!"

"Seems like you almost wanted to find something."

"It's just...what the hell! What made him do this."

"Is it possible when your attitude changed, it helped?"

"Wow. I never even thought about it. I have been so mad since he lost his job, it became normal."

Louise is happy but confused at the same time.

"I think your ass should just be happy and enjoy having your man back," she says in a friendly tone.

"Maybe you're right. If I don't change, maybe he won't."

"Yes girl! Now go enjoy your husband, so I can go enjoy what I got going on over here."

Both girls laugh and wish each other well. Louise sits a moment, reflecting on how great things have been lately. She decides to embrace this change and stop thinking about what was.
